The Donut Palace

Standard donut shop selection, but the cake donut and sour cream donut had just the tiniest hint of lemon, which made them special. Good stuff, fresh donuts, good prices, quick service, the lady running the place was very nice.Just a note to the people who feel like the wife/co-owner is rude: judging from her accented English, it's my guess she is Vietnamese or at least from a Southeast Asian country. It's been my experience that Americans sometimes mistake folks from Southeast Asia as being rude when it's really just a cultural difference in communicating. Their English tends to sound abrupt and bl they don't always adhere to our very American philosophy that "the customer is always right," along with its saccharine over-politeness.Just to say.

Excellent food, and the people are top notch. Great quick place to grab breakfast while visiting the island

Donuts were good, service was fast. The apple fritters were very dry. Probably best first thing in the morning. We were there at about 10.
