Freshness, quality and taste alone gets this a five star rating because if I were to factor in other aspects it would easily fall to one or two stars. This place is on Woodward so it’s a prime location. But it’s parking lot needs attention, the exterior and interior needs even more attention. It was late afternoon and the shelves were practically empty. I guess that’s what you’d expect from made fresh daily. Would I stop by again? Definitely. Would I go out of my way to buy a donut here again? Absolutely. Would I get up early to be the first customer and see all the varieties they offer? Maybe that’s pushing it. Also it’s cash only!!

I bought a dozen to share at work. They are definitely top 5 in metro area for quality, but are a little smaller than the competition. I was planning to get 18, but the price per donut is $1.06 as opposed to $1.00 each for 12, so I reduced my order. I would appreciate you reconsidering your bulk policy.

This place is awesome. It's a very simple, cash only donut shop that appears to be family owned. They have amazing donuts and the best apple fritter that I've ever had. A lot of the donuts I end up getting are still hot when I begin eating them; they don't come any fresher than this.

Most of all locals already know about Donut Cutter and that it was voted best donut. Next thing to do then with eating this best donut is to arrive right when they open at 4am. I'm the type of person who stays up late. So I'll just come by with tons of munchies at this hour. That being said, the donuts are made fresh daily and are coming out hot at this hour. So I enjoy taking a seat at the counter, relaxing and enjoying a variety of donuts. Each tray comes out the oven at different times with steaming hot donuts. Bring cash an appetite and don't forget to tip. Seriously, a super hot fresh donut watching the sugar melt can change your world, or even when it burns the top of your mouth. It did for my fat belly. Who knows? Thanks Donut Cutter for filling my crazy belly up.
