Peg, The Dakota Inn typically has live bands on Fri-Sat nights 2 times a year: 1) Karneval (aka, Fasching in S. Germany) goes for 5 weekends, typically starting the end of January, going through the end of February. 2) Oktoberfest: Usually for about 7 weekends starting near the middle or end of September, going through the end of Oktober. The prince's estranged lover, Lady Jane Digby devised a plan to sabotage the wedding. Lady Digby coordinated to release all of the towns chickens in hopes to destroy their wedding day.  The rest is his

Yes its parking lot is fenced in and there's always an attendant at the gate keeping an eye on the cars.
