The Crunkleton

Loved my visit to The Crunkleton! The hostess was super sweet and got us to a table with a very minimal wait(5 min). Cocktails are their specialty and i was stoked to see that a lot of the menu is gin based. I was even more excited to see 2 tiki options! Onto the food, everything that came to the table just impressed us more and more. The wings are amazing and the burger is a serious contender for best in Charlotte! Overall an incredible little spot, highly recommended!

It's a great place to eat and hang out. Cool atmosphere. Food was very good. You have to a onetime membership even if you only want to eat there because of the special liquor A nd spirits they have there.

Excellent cocktails, small plates and main dishes. The $10 club fee is dumb but it's some of the best service I've had in Charlotte so can't hate on it too much. Ordered a bunch of small plates and apps so we shared an entree and salad, without asking they split it in two separate dishes which was nice.

Wonderful experience. I was here for a Bourbon Training session. Gary was the most phenomenal host I have ever had the experience to deal with. The food was great. I had the better part of a dozen New England oysters and a hamburger. Stuffed. All I can say is, stuffed. Don't miss a chance to take in this establishment when in Charlotte. You'll know if Gary is there. His personality roars through the place and I think I would have enjoyed the place regardless of the reason I was there.

Great experience. Amazing drinks, genuine service, and excellent food.

Our favorite place to come for cocktails. Everything is executed perfectly and the bartenders really know their trade. My favorite: Bourbon Bramble But the whole menu is good!Great desserts as well.

Very disappointed. My visits eating in the dining room have been great. However, my last and only To Go order was a huge let down. The burger was sad for $14. The worst of all was the chicken sandwich. It was dry, thin, and tasted microwaved.

The open fire kitchen area, the drinks are wonderful, the service remarkable, the decor mid century modern, and overall experience AWESOME! The selection of antique spirits is mind blowing!!!

One of the best burgers in town. A reasonable price for all its deliciousness. I usually don’t like sauces on burgers – but their sauce is really pretty good!! High quality beef— cooked to order perfectly- always. The string fries are consistently cooked very well, but a little over seasoned for my taste. My husband loves the seasoning however. I had a steak there once that was awesome. The Caesar salad is great too. The cocktails are super strong – so a bit too much for me sometimes -but they’re good! Staff is excellent. The place has a good vibe. We sat at the chef’s table once, and it was really cool to watch everyone cook over the fire. Professionals!

This is one of our favorite local places to hit on a week night. Great food and amazing cocktails. If you get a chance, grab a seat at the bar and watch the professionals at their craft. You may also get an opportunity to learn a little bit while you're at it.

Real nice cool & cozy spot with an outstanding array of spirits & good food cooked over an open wood fire grill.

Great service and awesome cocktails! Hillary was so friendly, and a conversationalist which made my first experience very positive. I'll be back for dinner soon, because the menu looks amazing! We did have the french fries as a side, and they were delicious! Shout out to Hillary, though, for making my first experience nothing short of great!

It's hard to be a place with a wall of wiskeys to choose from, and they certainly didn't disappoint. They make a great mule and old fashioned. The atmosphere is somehow upscale yet casual at the same time. It's a great place to grab drinks with friends and catch up.

Went for a Don Julio tasting. They fed us very ymmu food at the end. As a vegetarian, it might be too expensive for my taste to go back for a regular meal... But overall I enjoyed it and the atmosphere was very nice.

We went mid-afternoon on a weekend when it was not as busy although it did become very busy starting around 5:30. I really enjoyed all of the cocktails and food that I had although I did expect the cocktail selection to be larger given that this is predominately advertised as a cocktail bar. It's comfortable and appealing inside but small. For the love of God stop calling fried oysters "oysters Rockefeller" that's just offensive.
