It's got a great atmosphere and the staff are nice. It's not what you expect in Connecticut its actually barbecue. The portions are big and delicious so come hungry. Enjoy!

This spot offers extraordinary service as well as delicious meals. The best spot in the area. The meals arrived rapidly and the prices were affordable. I recommend this place.

I celebrated my PhD yesterday in this gorgeous place. I am glad to say that we had a magnificent evening and the venue was unquestionably one of the reasons for this successful gathering. The crew participated in a gorgeous manner, the cuisine was appetizing and my friends were very cheerful. We shall absolutely return for more events. thanks very much.

I’ve been coming to the Cookhouse for over 10 years and it has never disappointed. They make some of the best BBQ in Connecticut and if you drive by it you’ve made a mistake. The barn-like atmosphere is super comfortable and perfect for what is being served up. We had the special Poutine appetizer and it was amazing. Hoping it gets added to the regular menu.

The service was awesome. The prime rib tender and cooked exactly as ordered. The smoked wings were tasty and not too greasy. The brisket was dry sadly but had good flavor. They accommodated my dietary restrictions as well. Atmosphere was cozy and the oversized booths great. Do not order hot water or tea ..... our waitress tried desperately to get the dish towel flavor out to no avail. The coffee machine needs to be flushed and re-tubed I believe.
