The Fried Chicken at this place is really good! Their cocktails are also, quite delicious and it's a great place to stop in for a bite and a drink. Seating is quite limited, though!

Funnest divey bar in this neighborhood, always a great vibe, cheap beers and tasty cocktails (get the piña colada), and a sneaky good kitchen (nachos / chicken plate is the way to go).

Awesome drinks but hard to find a seats sometimes.

Fried chicken. Hot breast. Nachos. Pinas. I did send these guys a post card once so I think I get a free drink? They did bring me nachos with candles on them for my birthday tho so we squared up. Seriously you can not find a better plate of nachos outside of this place. Drool drool.

Nice place good food but a long wait

Fried chicken sandwich is the truth. Great neighborhood dive during the week. Weekend it’s a bit too crowded but Sunday- Thursday it’s hard to beat. Don’t sleep on the Mexican chicken soup in the winter

The fries were good and the fish tacos were yummy. I didn't realize they were famous for their chicken platter and drinks so we'll have to come back cause this place is pop-u-lar.

Cool vibe, but the fried chicken is not as great as it was hyped to be

One of the best pins coladas in the city. Amazing nachos and fried chicken too. Usually hard to get a table or a bar seat but this place is an institution so that's to be understood.

What can I say, The Commodore is definitely ba hidden gem. I challenge you to find another spot in Williamsburg with better fried chicken or portions. I also have to mention their drinks are awesome plus they have specials. I can't begin to tell you how much I enjoyed my chicken plate. The service was fast and friendly. The Commodore was an instant hit for me and I plan to return often.

Great fried chicken. Very cozy place and overall nice atmosphere. Beer is average price.

Very cool. Cheap beer. And there is a fantastic old arcade game : track and field !
