The Codmother

This bar is what it is. If you went to a southern university or college you will be reminded of those late nights soaked with PBR. I like the nostalgia of it that extends to the music played. The crowd is 21-30 but a bit on the young end. I have never eaten there (only drinks) but my friend likes the fish and chips.

Went for the night life. Love this bar but was disappointed that half of the speakers were blown out last time I went. They play 90s music and I looveeee the vibe the bar has. Hopefully they’ll have the speaker issue fixed the next time I return.

Place was quiet when we entered around six on a Friday, so at that time it was great for talking. Had to get their fish and chips (which was excellent), and I was pleased to get a Genny cream ale, even if it isn't the pinnacle of beers. It's a small bar and the fish and chips are awesome. I love a wider beer selection, and this was satisfactory.
