The service, quality of food, ambiance, and location make this a required stop on anyone's list. Their wait staff is highly trained to recommend the best wine for your preferences and meal choice. The food is sublime. It may be pricey, but it is worth EVERY PENNY. Pro dutch tip: you get half off if it's your birthday.

The service was impeccable. Our waiter was both perfectly professional and humorous with our 14 yo. The food was some of the best I’ve had. My scallops were just crispy on the outside, buttery soft in the center. The mashed potatoes were honestly the lightest I’ve ever had - like biting into clouds. My spouse and son liked their fillets and my son loved the chocolate decadence. The manager even gave us the dessert on the house and congratulated our son. It was a perfect meal.

This place is so good. Best lobster bisque I've had. Everything is fantastic!! Highly recommended the prime beef selection. Make sure to order your meet to their description. Their med rare is more like rare but that's to be expected

We love the Chop House, it's our Grand Rapids restaurant of choice. The service is always beyond excellent, and Kennedy did not disappoint. The only reason I did not give a 5-Star rating is because for the first time my NY Strip was too tough. I have ordered it before and it was as tender as the filet, but not this time. It was prepared perfectly, but the meat itself was not the type of quality I usually get. It definitely won't keep me away, I'll just order the filet next time.

Came in for dinner with my wife and just want to say thank you. John, Eric, and Theresa offered top notch hospitality and dinner was amazing. Staff offered us a perfect meal with extensive knowledge on food and wine while making us feel right at home. We don't do dinner like this often, but we will return and will be happy to recommend to all our friends and family. Thank you again. Cheers.

Service, atmosphere, and all things related to a dining experience were great, but prices are at an unnecessary premium.So long as industrial farming exists, no stake will ever be worth $50, or a half serving of salad $20. No complaint at the food, but you add onto this parking or an uber and you're paying $50-100 per person for a night out for $10-20 worth of food.

The Chophouse has some of the best service in Grand Rapids, and the food to back it up. We had the Chef surprise us with a four course meal, and the kitchen delivered. I have enjoyed Ruth's Chris, but I think I have found my new love.

The ROLLS! So very good. The wedge salad is one of my favorite things on the menu. The bacon is the perfect compliment. Everyone always raves about the lobster bisque. So try that if you like rich creamy soups! On your birthday you get however many people you go with (up to 4 I think) % off your bill not including alcohol. So if you go with 2 people 50% off the bill or 4 people 25% off.

First time here and its amazing! The appetizer, the steak and everything. Had an amazing dessert. All worth the price. We will definitely be back. The wait staff is very knowledgeable and willing to take the time with any and all questions you may havr.

We enjoyed the atmosphere and the service was impeccable. 100% Fantastic service. The down side was that the food options were limited. We don't eat pork or certain seafood so we ordered steak and it was prepared very well and was superbly tender. However it was still very bloody for medium well. And I had to send it back a few times before it was right. For the price it was just okay.

I’m from Atlanta and travel a lot. This was my first time here. The atmosphere is great, very romantic. Service was pretty good as well. Very disappointed in my N.Y. strip steak. Not much better than an outback fast food steak.

My wife and I ate at the Chop House Thursday, March 12, 2020 at 5:30 PM. Every detail was 5 star. The wait staff and food 5 stars. We can't wait for this restaurant to open back up with all the others. We traveled 1 hour to eat at the Chop House and it was worth every penny. Excellent Restaurant!

My husband and I come here every year for his birthday. You get 50% off of your meal less the alcohol. The food, service, ambiance, and drinks are amazing! You really can't go wrong!
