I really appreciate fresh, healthy food prepared from scratch. You can taste the difference. TCG is in a lovely outdoor food market with picnic benches. Definitely worth a trip!

Small spot but finely crafted with lots of heart. Had the rib sandwich: really delicious and well balanced. The two chutneys he uses expertly compliment the perfectly cooked meat and the choice of bread is exactly what you'd want got that kind of sandwich. Also got the coleslaw, which while excellent, was a mistake because the sandwich was deceptively filling for its size and price. The owner was also very friendly and seems to love his job which always makes the experience nicer and the food just a bit better.

One of the few rare places left in downtown toronto that is so welcoming and offers great free tea! Must try! Can’t emphasize much, so so good!!

This place is a hidden gem. Food was beyond amazing. Great customer service, owner of the place made sure everyone enjoyed the food. I do recommend stopping by you will not regret.

WOW! I'm that person who never ever writes a review because I never make the effort to, even though I rely so heavily on them but this time I had to! The Charcoal Grill is UNREAL! A gem just off the corner of Yonge and Dundas. The food is fresh, everything is made in house and the prices are a bargain! I had the Palak Skewer along with the lamb shank and the tea....it was all mouth watering! The food, tea and chutneys/sauces are all original Pakistani (kashmiri) recipes made fresh to order with quick service! I've recommended this place to all of my friends and will 100% be returning. Kudos to this amazing mom and pop shop in the heart of Toronto!
