The Cabin

Great drink menu, friendly service, decent selection of entrees. Definitely recommend the patio as the inside of the building is very plain, but the the outdoor area is great. We saw a bald eagle fly over as we ate dinner. The food was excellent, and they had live music on a Saturday night.

Waited 16 minutes on hold to make a Friday evening dinner reservations for 2. The call was never picked up. My significant other called while I was on hold. Got through and had a reservation in under 2 minutes. 8pm reservation, it was 9pm before our appetizer showed up to the table. Took an above average amount of time for a server to even welcome our table. Ordered the Mahi Mahi which was seasoned well and had potential but was severely over cooked and dry. Nearly inedible. The atmosphere was a tad hokey. Live entertainment was enjoyable but a tad loud and somewhat over powered table conversation. They seemed somewhat busy, but there was zero wait, and seemed to be plenty of servers on staff so the poor service was not really excusable.

I visited for a seminar, the menu was fixed but everything was wonderful. Would definitely visit again.

Everyone told us it was THE place to go in Ashland. It was good, but maybe hyped up to be better?

I really enjoyed the menu selections: not your "run of the mill" standard entrees. Lots of diversity and something for everyone. I had a hard time choosing but enjoyed the French onion soup and the vegetable flat bread. My friend had the chicken cordon bleu, and it looked great. The atmosphere was average, along with the service. I enjoyed the live music, which was performed at a suitable volume for table conversation. I will definitely go again.

We went for the wings and ribs buffet one night. It was pretty good, but some of the larger wings didn't seem cooked enough. Good variety of flavors.

Friendly staff. Interesting menu options. Good Cab wine. I felt my fish (salmon) was a bit over cooked. The spring pea risotto was tasty but perhaps a tad over salted as was the soup. I feel like this place could get some local artist paintings or more character inside- But for being in the country this place wasn’t bad.

Food and service was fabulous! Drinks were amazing especially the Summertime martini! Hope to go back soon and take some friends and family!

We enjoyed the outside seating. Nice variety on the menu. The salmon was moist with a light sauce. Our group enjoyed their meals also. Easy parking.

Good food, good service. Nice live music and relaxed atmosphere. I look forward to dining here again.

Food was good burtook forever

Used to be 5 stars a few years ago, Sadly this place has gone down hill. I hope that they will realize they need to improve their standards and I will be more inclined to come back once that is done.

Wonderful place, I've ate there many times and haven't had a problem till tonight. Food was amazing but I thought my server was alittle over energized tonight. He kept forgetting to get stuff for us and messed up my little sisters order. It took over an hour to receive our entres.

If you've not heard the last 8 years top 40 music, this is a great place to stop to sample. Food and service are pretty good.

Great, great food. Exceptional service and topped with live music
