No... Their is no complicated. I'm working in Adam Tower I don't find any complicated. While you ride in the ferry you enjoying the view ☺️

You can take an uber for about 45mins or take the express train from AMS to Centraal Station (€5.50). There's a free ferry from centraal to north Amsterdam (leaves about every 5mins and drops you 3mins from the hotel)

Yes there are, just not on the north side of the Ij river. The free ferry service will take you to the other side in 5 minutes and from there it is another 5 minute walk to the most of the coffeeshops.

No this is not possible due to safety reasons. But this is not necessary, because both the room and bathroom are well ventilated.
