Ok a little small, with that hipster vibe. We enjoyed trying the place, but really. A bit pricey for breakfast $60.00 for 3 people,????? I enjoy experiencing Detroit, I don't want to buy it.But like I said great experience.

Awesome food, above and beyond service. Cute little details like random coffee mugs and proper tea pots make this spot memorable. Authentic poutine and all of their brunch food is too notch. We come here every time we're in town and you should too!

Don't be deceived by a humble exterior façade of this place and pay them a visit. Great food can be found within, and its high quality stems from the ethos of supporting local community and sourcing best foods (bread, cakes, etc.) the neighborhood has to offer. If you want to grab a tasty breakfast in Corktown - look no further!

Nice staff and they worked great together. Was popular around 11:30 a Saturday. They were serving brunch only menu at that time. People had good things to say about it. Breakfast poutine was nice. Vegan options and carefully sourced ingredients is a pleasant touch.

The food was good and wasn't overwhelming at all. The crowd is very diverse and vibrant. The waitresses are very helpful and cordial. Will be coming back

I make it a point to visit Brooklyn Street Local anytime I visit the Detroit area. You can never go wrong with the Traditional breakfast or the Hangover Special. Not only is the food delicious, it is more than enough to keep you satisfied for the entire day. Moreover, the coffee is very very good. Very understated and inviting atmosphere with polite and friendly staff. A trip here is very highly recommended!

Honestly it doesn't look like much on the outside. Inside is like one of those homey places. It's small, pretty clean. The staff is very friendly. The food is delicious. And the service is quick. Sorry I waited this long to check the place out.

Very hip spot for breakfast. The quiches are very high quality and flavorful. Bacon and sausage are also very good. Service was spot on. Coffee was a bit on the weak side for me. Would definitely come back.

Jumped on the waiting list before we left the hotel. When we arrived, it was only a few minutes of sipping coffee on the patio before we were seated. Quick service and piping hot food. Couldn't resist the mini carrot cupcakes for breakfast dessert. Bloody Mary was a bargain at $6. Definitely worth the wait!

Their vegans options are perfect! Those pancakes were absolutely amazing and so were the vegan fries!! I’ll definitely be back!

Awesome service, great food varaity and the food tastes so good. They also have awesome vegan dishes. Cozy place for couples or very small groups not for big groups. The prices are decent and again, the service is great! Loved the people working there! Definitely recommend for foodies :)

Came here for a Sunday brunch, keep in mind the weekend menu is different. I didn't keep this in mind and was disappointed I wouldn't get to try their vegan burger, but life goes on. There was around half an hour wait, as I expected. The place is pretty small so makes sense. Our order was taken quickly and the food was delivered quickly as well. The pancakes were perfection. Light, airy, delicious! However, for the vegan "Hangover Special" I do have a suggestion, and that is to possibly include more veggies. It was a lot of protein/carbs. But I didn't get hungry until like 6 plus hours later, so that's a pro. Overall, a nice experience, and I would like to come back and try the vegan burger :)

Came from over the river for a nice brunch date and we were not disappointed. Looking at previous reviews, perhaps we got lucky, but we both loved our dishes (one of us is vegan and one vegetarian) and it was more than enough to ensure our return. Good coffee too. After the $ conversion the cost was about the same as in Windsor, but portions were much more generous. As someone who likes to EAT, I appreciated not being served three twigs and a sprig of grass and being expected to be happy there was a vegan option. Keep it up, we'll be back!
