The Bongo Room

This is a great brunch place. I like how open and airy it is allowing lots of light in. The menu is extensive and offers something for everyone. They make really good coffee and the service is very polite. Highly recommended.

I absolutely love this place. The croissant sandwiches are hands down my favorite items on the menu.

The lemon raspberry pancakes were GORGEOUS, and the other food and drinks were great too! Good service, good atmosphere. Altogether a lovely brunch experience.

Their chocolate tower French toast is the best and I strongly recommend it. Their omelets are not the best you can find in Chicago, but their sweet menu is delicious.P.s. they have parking for costumers and a beautiful patio.

Everyone I tell about Bongo Room is now a believer.. the service is outstanding & and the menu is unbelievable. I am a huge fan of the drink menu as it hits the spot for alcoholic brunch drinks... if that makes any sense. What blow my mind is how clean this establishment is, although it might me a bit small for some. I find it cozy and welcoming. Let me know what you think!

On 10/16 my sister and law and I went came here for breakfast, and everything was fine until we started ordering our food. Our waitress seemed extremely annoyed that We had questions. She rolled her eyes a few times and gave us attitude. We were being extremely friendly so we didn’t understand why the attitude, as if we were asking for free food or as if we weren’t going to pay. We did have my nephew with us, maybe it was because we had a toddler with us? She didn’t like that.. It should not be like that, I should not have to feel uncomfortable or question why the horrible service. We came here to pay for good food and good service. The food was definitely delicious, however the girl who took care of us maybe was having a rough day...when you walk into work you have to leave that behind because it affects our experience as consumers.

The food here, especially the pancakes and the French toasts are out of this world!!!The only thing that upsets me is that they are rushing you through the breakfast/brunch. I want to enjoy my breakfast and to stay as long as I want maybe I want to chat and drink the coffee for an hour or so. Don't drop the check while I am still chewing the food.

The huckleberry and meyer lemon hotcakes are probably the best pancakes I've ever eaten, no exaggeration. Try a mimosa at brunch- with multiple different combinations there's something for everyone. Even during the weekday lunch rush we were seated immediately and once we placed our order, our food arrived in less than 15 minutes. A delight, if a little pricey for regular visits.

Amazing food! Hands down one of the best brunch places I’ve been to anywhere. It’s not on the menu but you can order a single pancake if you want something else but also want something sweet. Oreo pancake was DELICIOUS! So was the chocolate French toast tower thing. If you’re even just considering trying this place, definitely go check it out.
