The Black Sheep

Not a lot of places to sit, and no coat check but could be fun depending on what you are going there for. Didn't try to food. I will be back since it's close to my friends house and the people working there were nice!

I've passed by this place a hundred times, but Im glad we stopped. This a unique place for food, beer and entertainment. They have a great beer selection, which included gumball head, one of my favorites. Now the ordering is different, you have a server that you place your food order with, but you are given a pager that will vibrate when your food is ready for pick up. You pick up your food order from the kitchen, which is a make shift food truck where you can pick up the order. The menu isn't huge but what they make, they make well. I got the Baja shrimp tacos and they were fresh and delicious. The staff was friendly and hustled, which we appreciated. If your looking for a quick drink or someplace to have a good bite to eat alone or with the family, I would recommend this place. We'll be back for sure.

My wife and I loved the food ! My mixed drinks were exceptional , we loved the ambiance . I was just a good place to chill

Street tacos were good and a nice beer selection. Bartenders actually shake the drinks that are supposed to be shaken.

This is why I Didn't like it. The Doors of Chicago were to play there. Well they did but they fired the main person....the singer. I was not to happy with that. Although the other singers were okay it isn't the same without the man who thought he is Jim Moorison. He made the band.

My husband and I stopped in for dinner and some drinks. Our server was Athena, she was amazing. She was very attentive and informative. We've been here before, but have never had service as such. She was so nice, almost too nice to be in a south side bar. Thanks for your great service Athena!

Just an amazing place. Great food and atmosphere. I couldn't stay for the open mic jam however im sure it was great also. Looking forward to stopping back in.

Saw a great 90's band here and had a blast. Nice place, seats fill up fast on band nights. Five dollar cover charge gets you in the door. Ladies room towel girl was very friendly and helpful. Worth checking out!

I met a good friend and chose The Black Sheep because of Yelp reviews. Elizabeth was a great waitress. She knows the menu well, and made great suggestions. The mules are fantastic! We tried the salsa trio with guacamole. Great start! Tacos are small but tasty. Tuesdays they have 2 burgers they put on special for $5 each. 2 thin patties cooked to order...nice flavors.Definitely try the cheese curds. We will be back to try more soon!

The manager I think his name is tony... I'm so sorry if its not. But he was awesome. My order had an issue and he went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. I wanna thank you for be the best manager I've encountered at any restaurant establishment. Definitely recommend this place.

Good atmosphere. Amazing food. Their tacos are to die for and also half off on wednesdays!!

Went to a Christmas party with friends and we had an excellent time. The space is really cool and the music is awesome. The staff is super friendly, especially Sophia. Will definitely return.

They brought us our drinks and we drank them. We ordered our food and we ate it. ..... Nothing to write home about.
