First time there. Rather surprised by the size of the place when I got in. Like most places on a Friday night it was very busy but even at that service was quick and friendly. Had some soup it wouldn't be the type of soup I would normally ordered but I really enjoyed it and they even brought me extra bread at no charge. I know it's not a big thing but every little bit helps as they say. Had my usual cider and prices very very reasonable. Will definitely go back again and try some of their other food.

Great vibe for after work drinks. Quick service and staff is very knowledgeable of the extensive beer menu. Food is also good. Music was bit loud and my first two choices of beer had empty legs so that's the reason for 4 stars. But easily one of the better spots right downtown for gathering after work.

Questions & Answers

"Every item listed as “(GF)” on our menu is prepared using only gluten-free ingredients. However, due to the open nature of our kitchens where gluten is present, cross contamination may occur during food preparation. Therefore, Bier Markt restaurants cannot claim to be gluten-free facilities and we cannot accept liability for symptoms contracted through the ingestion of gluten." I would guess that you could ask for a lettuce wrap, but I assume that they would generally say no to having actual Gluten Free buns based on the message in their menu only saying "Gluten Friendly" and those items are not bun-based foods

Metered parking & free underground parking on weekends nearby. Non specific to bar.

You can bring them during the day. I'm not sure but they may have a time in the evening when under 19 is no longer permitted.

Try to use this application: https://www.opentable.com/ I have been excellent at booking tables is restaurants and Pubs. You let me know Sara!

if youre wondering if its got a long history... it doesnt. modeled on belgian/German beer halls. the food is not (modeled on those)... its "mod" and mostly pretentious
