I'm impressed and I can't believe it took me this long to finally attend this place. They have a good selection of local beers so if you're looking for something local head here. There is a good amount of seating and they even have outdoor seating, too. Another huge plus for them is that they have games available for people to play. The one downside is their facade is under some kind of scaffolding and the location is a bit dodgy. Other than that I think it's an awesome addition to the city.

I can't give any place that uses non-standard beer pours more than two stars. I don't mind short pours, that's fine, but there's no reason a full beer should be 14 oz instead of 16. A beer that's less than 8% abv should not be in a 14 oz glass. On their site, as of right now, for Sea Hag it says "Serving Sizes: 14oz Draft." SEA HAG IS NOT A 14 OZ BEER. I can't freakin' stand this. Drives me nuts. Nothing says "pretentious" more than small beer pours at full price. Actually, it's MORE than full price because the pour's smaller. The decor's nice enough, I suppose, and the service was fine, but I will not EVER request to go there or recommend it to others.

decent beer and board games were on offer. I inquired about the size of the nachos app and was told by bartender that he couldn't finish them and had to take the rest home, it would be plenty for two people. I received a sad paltry plate of nachos. They tasted ok, nothing to write home about.

I had the best beer art this place. The ambience is great and the seating is good (We sat at the bar). The decor gives it a warm feeling. Lots of choices on beer, there is something for everyone. They even had sour beer. Food was fresh and was quick to be delivered. The only complaint was the bartender helping us seemed annoyed to have customers. Could definitely use improvement in attitude. Otherwise, what a great place, we'll be back!

Definitely not for food, service or ambience, maybe for beer. As the name suggests. Chicken sandwich had dry salty fried chicken, I have had better in Subway. Sugary low-end ketchup. The fries were good. Not impressed by the salads either. They have a wide selection of artisanal beer. It gets noisy, especially during trivia night. Takes a while for the food to arrive. Better go to the counter to pay instead of waiting for the bill.

I stopped in to check out the place, as I've never been there before. The person at the front was a little abrupt when I asked him a question. I definitely did not get a friendly vibe from this establishment. I will go back because perhaps the staff was having a bad day.

Racist bartenders. Went with a group of 10 people all over 25. They only carded the East Asians in the group, even though we were some of the oldest in the group. I forgot my state ID but could produce multiple documentation including a copy of a passport and a school ID saying I was overage. They refused to take the ID and made me leave the premises. I am very upset that they only targeted East Asians to card, and when I confronted them about their racism they just said "we looked young." Unacceptable. My group will not go back.

This wonderful craft beer focused bar is a gem just off Orange Street by the Federal Building. The non-descript outside opens to a warm and inviting is somewhat rustic interior. The tables of multiple sizes are located throughout and the large bar displays the list of Craft Beer, many local that are offered. The big surprise though is how good the food is. They serve great shareable appetizers as well as specials and full meals. The outside space behind the main room is a nice place to relax on a good evening or afternoon. Give this place a try if you like craft beer and are looking for a friendly place to stop, chat with friends or enjoy a nice casual and very well prepared meal.

Tiny little gem on a small side street in New Haven. Great place for a quick bite and a drink or two.

My fiancé and I went for their Tuesday night trivia, dinner, and some drinks while we were visiting from out of town. The food was tremendous and the trivia host did a great job. The servers were extremely attentive to empty glasses and refills. However, I would say that this place is overpriced for a brew pub. We were hoping to get some average priced quick eats. But Like I said, the food is great if you are willing to pay for it. We also would have loved if they offered flights as there were several beers we wanted to try. Overall, Great night out.
