Landmark restaurant...cozy ambience...a little loud but expected for a typical local hole in the wall joint. Food is above average...service is average..overall:a cozy predictable not too ambitious place to gather with good food.

Old school. This place is a neighborhood gem. Enter through the bar and into the dark dining room for a delicious steak and good sides. The price is excellent. One of the best "Pittsburgh rare" preparations I have ever had. A perfect amount of char cooked evenly on both sides with a nice cold center!

After a first time visit, my girlfriend & I were very happy we took the ride up from PA!I would have given 4 stars due to them not taking reservations & a 30 minute wait but we think they made up for that overall.All employees we dealt with were friendly & prompt. Our server was Hunter.I really like the old time feel of the whole place overall.I had 20 oz. prime rib that was prepared perfectly. The chili was excellent as well! The "house potatoes" were just sliced potatoes (kind of a let down).She had a Delmonico special that she said was very good as well.I think overall we got what we paid for!
