The Beast Next Door Cafe & Bar

Must visit the restaurant for American food lovers. The Beast Next Door has an impressive collection of Tapas and Small Plates. They have Table reservations, happy-hour specials, and no food delivery. Special foods include Bean Ragout, Tartine, etc.

Nice comfortable spot that can get kinda loud and busy but has pretty good cocktails and other options. Good all-around bar.

I got a Moscow Mule, my girlfriend got a Gin and Tonic. Service was good and the bartender was very nice. The drinks were super strong and not over priced, I would visit the place again if I was in the area.

Nice local bar with hands on owner. Large portions of bread with cured meats and cheeses ordered a la carte. Raw honey and fruit slices available. Very clean restrooms and venue.

I just moved 2 blocks away, happy to drop by here any time. The tapas style food and great happy hour specials.

The rusty anchor cocktail is good.Old fashioned was way too sweet.They use large ice cubes.Pour your own water stations.They had live music, which ended around 11pm.There's a couple of very spacious and clean bathrooms.

They were accommodating and have us raw honey and pears for free when we asked for it with our cheese plate.

Went for happy hour. Decent prices but the appetizers were disappointing for the price. The shareable meat tray was tasty but this place was straight up weak when it came to portions. Like I get it LIC people don’t each much to stay thin but hook me up with a legit portion you know. Still trying to eat something for the price of a normal entree anywhere else.

This is the perfect bar next door to my apartment building. Couldn't get better than this. 😍

Great customer service, drinks, and ambiance!

Low key bar with a medieval-ish theme. Wasn't too crowded on a warm Sat night. There are some HH deals, but nothing I'd go out of my way for. Decent place for a drink if you're in the neighborhood.

John, the owner is such a sweet guy. I go here for a nice glass of wine and a charcuterie plate. Always a great after work happy hour hot spot. Pretty decor and intimate atmosphere- not a huge space but a nice spot to grab a drink with friends or significant other.

The one decent moderately priced bar in the neighborhood. The bar has a nice atmosphere and good happy hour specials. The staff is attentive and friendly. Definitely the go-to spot if you're in the Court Square neighborhood.
