Great atmosphere if you're hanging out with friends at the bar or want quiet for an intimate dinner. Not sure why the chicken nachos appetizer is $25. They were good, but not that good. The steak and salmon were cooked perfectly. We would definitely go back!

Great music, great service, and my warm kale salad with grilled salmon was delicious. Been living in NYC for 10 years and I'm surprised I haven't been to this spot before. Loved it!

Bar Room is a very pleasant old world style place to grab lunch. We were there for the first time to get a quick bite while doing some shopping. I'm a big wedge salad fan and the one served was outstanding. My wife had the pork buns and those were fantastic too. The sangria was delicious. Everyone has their act together and the ambiance with the large skylight and hand painted mural made the whole experience excellent. Service was thoughtful and yes, we had a chance to chat it up with Anna although she was not our server. So friendly, says hello to everyone and really makes you feel welcome. Kudos to the management for putting together an excellent establishment. Looking forward to our next visit.

Made a reservation for brunch. The server Anna was knowledgeable about the menu and was able to give thoughtful recommendations. Also she was very funny. The food was delicious, and the cocktails on point. They make a great old fashioned there! The burger and chicken parmigiana sandwich were delicious. Would definitely visit again!

An eclectic mix of clientele. Decent chicken parmigiana. Drinks are $15. Tiffany will make you a concoction. Don’t bother with the drink menu.

What a delightful surprise. Great brunch with Les Girls. Fresh tasty food. Our waitress, however, was our biggest treat. Thank you, Anna. A warm, expressive young lady who made us feel right at home. Love the ambiance here, old world speakeasy feel with a classy dining room in back with green leather seats, chandeliers and lots of natural light. They have happy hour on weekdays from 4-6pm at the bar with $10 glasses of wine and cocktails. It gets very loud during this hour so if you're going on a first date I'd recommend avoiding this time frame so you can actually hear the other person without having to scream. We split the pork buns and Brussels sprouts, both of which were phenomenal. Portion sizes are big so we didn't need to order anything else. Will definitely be back!
