The Augusta House

Went for dinner on Grey Cup Day my friend and I stayed to watch the Grey Cup game. We were given a very nice t-shirt of very good quality and at half time chili, deep fried progies, huge (and I mean huge spare ribs where the meat was so tender it fell off the bone which was very tasty) and meat balls. Thank you to the owners and the cook of this fine establishment.

Nice bar and service. Prices of pints can be a bit steep though.

The largest pub on Augusta. Rock DJs on Friday. Live band on Saturday. Service is amazing and so quick! Lineups form on Saturday so come early!

Had dinner there tonight, 1st time in this pub and thought it was tremendous. From the charming ladies who served us, to the delicious food, to that great ambience. We had the $6. mussels as an appetizer and were blown away by the portion size and flavour. Immediately ordered a plate to take home with us when we left. The main courses were just as tasty. Well done by everyone involved. I can not say enough about the place and especially waitresses. Definitely will be returning !

Honestly, potentially one of the worst bars in Hamilton. I understand when the night is late and there are few options you might consider visiting this place, but I strongly recommend you reconsider. Not only are the staff racist, they're inconsiderate and sexist. I've never felt comfortable when waiting in line, let alone trying to converse with the 'bouncers.' All I ask is that you consider whether or not a night at the Augusta House is actually better than staying in. I promise if you skip this place you won't regret it. Always decide carefully. Went into Hamilton to eat at a diff spot it was over crowded and ended up at Augusta House...this spot is great server was awesome food was very good had the Chicken crunch and it was very good. Others at our table had the burgers and thought it was good also. Recommend this place.

Cute and cozy atmosphere, great beers on tap and delicious food. This place usually has specials, have been there for lunch and dinner and both fabulous. Reasonably priced, and close to other pubs within walking distance, public transit and parking lot

We visited on a warm and sunny afternoon with expectation to enjoy a drink and sandwich on the patio in front. Upon being seated we were told they were sold out of burgers (at 2:00). They had a relatively narrow menu so I opted for the pulled pork sandwich as an alternative. Unfortunately, they then told us they had sold out of that as well. The explanation was that they had a busy night on Saturday so there wasn't much food left in the kitchen. We gave up on the food, finished a drink and moved on to another restaurant nearby. Not a good experience for us that day.

Just ate here. The staff was friendly. They went out of their way to make my kids feel welcome. The food was delicious too. Great beer selection as well.

Wow! I have not seen this bartender before but the wonderful Spanish gentleman (i think his name was Juan) was great. Friendly and attentive. Great service!

Good food and good service. Great service to wife and I and our kids. Would definitely go back.

Over priced, the food wasn't good. Service was trash. Not impressed
