The Arch Noodle House is definitely a restaurant for students. A standard bowl of noodles will run you 9.99 + tax, and there's a hefty amount of food in the single bowl. The interior is quite small, about 5 booths and 5 tables available for seating, with a small bar for individuals. The soups run a little on the salty side, but are overall well seasoned and filling. Service is a little bit slow when busy since they don't seem to have a lot of staff, but it's nothing too bad. All staff speak English and Mandarin Chinese, so language shouldn't be an issue.

Pretty solid noodle place. Affordable and everything tastes pretty good. Appetizers are a little small, but the noodles are enough to satisfy you. Also service is super fast

I love the texture and size of these noodles compared to Noodle Me or Noodles One. These types of noodles don't soak up the broth as fast. This is a very clean space with friendly and fast service. The tomato broth is a must try. Apps are hit and miss. The meat portion in the beef broths are a little sad.

Had dinner there around 5:30 on a tuesday, the place had people but was not busy, the server was friendly. Ordered the seafood noodle soup without mussels, but it seemed to be missing the fish cakes listed on the menu too... The broth is pork bone soup (I believe), but lacked favour, all I tasted was msg. The noodles weren't hand made or anything special, had good texture for the first few slurps. The overall experience was a bit disappointing as I expected a good bowl of soup noodles. The only good thing about it is that it's quite close to Mac and give a quite generous portion for a reasonable price. Don't think I would go back though.

Delicious tomato and fried egg noodle soup: I tried something different at this new place. Ginger chicken appetizer tasted great too. Nice decor, friendly staff, fresh ingredients, fun menu. I'll definitely return to try other dishes. Thanks for opening so close to Mac! It was busy at suppertime after only being open a week.

This place is an unassuming gem! We just stumbled into this place while visiting mcmaster and everything we ordered was so good. Service was quick and ordering from the sheets they give you is straight forward. If I lived close, I would go back.

I can see why this is a university student staple restaurant! The food is warm, delicious and it can get spicy depending on your preferences, and I love that! The model for building your own noodles can get kind of pricey, and it seems like there aren’t enough seating spots, but besides that, there is decent selection of foods and it was an interesting experience!

Good soup! The noodle soups all come with a cooked egg and some veg which is nice. There is also a variety of toppings you can add (you get one topping included!). The gluten topping is unusual but still tasty if you want to try something new.

Was pleasantly surprised when I walked in on a work trip to Hamilton. Tried a bowl on Laksa noodle soup with braised brisket and enoki mushrooms. Good portions, reasonably priced and tasted great too. Went back a second time to try their dry noodles and a chicken in chilli oil. Wasn't disappointed. Will revisit.
