The Apparatus Room

Ambiance is cool. We spent almost $400. Part of that was a 6pc order of oysters. They were, by far, the smallest I've ever had AND no taste. Told our server, and she just apologized. I would have thought with that much volume, they could have offered more than just an "I'm sorry". Food is overall good. Scallops were good but the popcorn ruined it and we picked it out. Cauliflower was very good. The bread plate was lacking flavor

The atmosphere is unique in the old firehouse with dramatically high ceilings. It has a semi industrial vibe. My group has the cauliflower appetizer which has a little bit of a kick, but great flavor and texture. A very nice crunch. I ordered the scallops for my main course. They were perfectly cooked, succulent not dry and chewy. I don't get the sprinkling of popcorn over the dish. The kernels were half popped and the got moist and gooey. Hard to eat. The dish would be better off without them. I had the apple tart for dessert. An interesting take and presentation. The addition of fennel was unusual but good. The cannel of ice apple butter ice cream was smooth, but not strongly flavored. Overall a great experience. With care taken on the food quality and presentation.

Love apparatus room!! We celebrated a birthday and reserved the private dining room. All of the food was amazing. We had the Chef’s Table selection and every course was perfect. Service was outstanding. Can’t wait to go back.
