Delicious seafood and really friendly staff. The menu has a massive variety and it is very worth it. However, the wait to get a table without a reservation can be quite long. But it is a great place.

Tasty food and impeccable service. I would suggest sticking with “hot” seafood if you like hot don’t bother with the hot/cold combination just to try. Overall this is really the best seafood experience I’ve had in Amsterdam.

This has hands down been one of the best meals we have had on our travels. We ordered the combo, which was a cold and hot seafood platter for two. Every single item was prepared to perfection. Raw items were fresh, cooked items were perfectly done. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great seafood meal in Amsterdam.

Good selection on the menu, priced well and friendly service. Reservations advised... the place was packed at 4:30 pm already.

Had one of the best seafood experiences here. We ordered the Dutch Flat Oysters, the Seafood Platter for 2, and the Lobster soup. The seafood Platter had some of the freshest seafood I've had in all my travels.Each of the Dutch Flat Oysters felt like a bursting mouthful of all the essences of the sea...The lobster soup however. Was so so. Not the best. But good enough. Be prepared to wait if you don't have a reservation though.

One of my best seafood experience ever. Great selection on the menu and prices are quite reasonable considering the quality of the food. The staff was also very nice and helpful. I can totally recommend this restaurant.

We visited The Seafood Bar in between trips to the museums which are close by. It was about 13:00 but there were tables open and we were seated quickly. The restaurant filled up very shortly after that. This is a clean, modern, and efficient restaurant.The service was excellent and the food came out very quickly. As you can see here and on the website, the presentation is stunning and the flavors are superb. We tried the lobster soup and it is good but not amazing as others have said. I say that only because we are used to cream based bisque and chowders and this is not the case. Still flavorful and enjoyable though. We ordered the Fruits de Mer 'Seafood Bar' for 1 person and it was plenty for both of us to share with a satisfying array of seafood. We both felt the crab salad was the real star of the meal. A big surprise was how much we liked the seaweed salad. The crab was sweet and the oysters fresh. The red sweet/spicy sauce paired well with the oysters.

Really cool venue .Mainly seafood dishes as you could guess , plateaux or pieces of fish like the very local kibbeling !

Best meal we had In Amsterdam! We had a giant bowl of fresh shellfish on ice. Absolutely incredible!

Love love love this place. Husband and I live in Germany, and since it is land locked, we never get our seafood fix. So this place was an absolute treat! The BEST bloody mary I've ever had!! Love the oyster that comes with it. I believe we shared the classic Seafood Bar combo, plus 6 oysters, and it was all amazing. Left nothing behind. Calamari is nice and crispy. Try the wine pairings that's recommended with your food - it's tasty. Staff was very friendly and the place is just so bright and full of good energy. Met some very nice people who sat next to us as well! 100% recommend!

My family and I decided to go to this restaurant because this place has good reviews but the reality it is not so good - the restaurant was really busy , and I’m not sure if it was the reason , but we had to wait a lot to order a bottle of wine , a lot to order the food ,the waitress couldn’t even look to us .- before to ask the bill we asked for the waitress to clean the table 3 times . - we had lobster and again the waitress even bring to us the wipes to clean the hands . I saw it in another table so I decide to ask for it . - we had to get up and go to the till to pay the bill as again no one came in to us with the card machine . The octopus was good , but the lobster was definitely raw . Looks like the restaurant cares about the way you are wearing or something like this , as we were not wearing social clothes or something like this , we felt that we were not treat right .

Visited the other outlets around Amsterdam city centre. So this is the second place of The Seafood Bar we visited. Ordered raw or grill seafood, you couldn’t go wrong. Order the specials platter!

A place with high service quality and food that makes you enjoy each piece you eat. Table was always cleaned and order arrived fast . Thank you all for great time we had on 8March 2020.
