The service was amazing. The wait staff was super friendly and attentive. The food was amazing. I ordered the ribeye and it was cooked exactly the way I ordered it. I loved how extensive the wine list was. I loved my appetizer. I definitely recommend this awesome place.

Wonderful food, beautiful environment and history. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. A bit pricey , expect to spend around 50 a person for dinner.

Phenomenal food and ambience. Surprisingly reasonable prices. Service was good but not great. Only caveat, waiter was attentive, but way too liberal with the profanities. When you dress up for a classy night out, you'd like your waiter to meet that expectation. Crab beignets were delectable! We each got a seafood dish and it was fresh and flavorful. Little sweets at end of meal were outstanding! Hope to go back soon.

I received great service from Keegan my server. Also, the lady at the front desk was most considerate of my needs. I ordered the eggs benedict... With salmon instead of meat. Very tasty. Valet parking is a plus.

A restaurant in a beautiful historical building on Baltimore Street. I hosted a retirement lunch here. The staff was available, friendly, and took care of every detail. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. I highly reccomend.

Came for my mother in laws 80th birthday. The good news is she had a wonderful time. The bad news is the rest of us were very disappointed. The restaurant itself is beautiful. The interiors are rich and stately. Really amazingly done with incredibly high ceilings. The issue was really the service. I think we waited over an hour to get our entrees after our appetizers. When the entrees finally came they were tepid. Our waitress never explained to anyone that we should have ordered sides. Fine for the adults but our children expect more than just a piece of flank steak. The menu didn’t make it clear either. The food itself was quite tasty but would have been nice if it was more than tepid. Overall very unimpressed particularly given the cost.

An amazing space in a heavily renovated classic Baltimore bank building, one of the few surviving structures in the city-center that pre-date the Great Fire of 1904. The food and drink hold up to the decor, but stepping inside you're going to be immediately taken by the soaring ceilings and the huge Tiffany Dome, the 2nd largest in the world. The whole building melds new and old in a most aesthetically pleasing way.Food? Our small plates were delicious. The bar program is excellent and the bartender knowledgeable. The long bar is a nice touch and a more casual place to dine (usually you'll find me dining at the bar). There's many wines by the glass, but especially for fine dining I was pleasantly pleased to see several "affordable" options (glasses under $10).

The food is excellent, particularly the arugula salad and the ribeye steak. The service was excellent, having set a last minute reservation for 10, we were easily accommodated in a private room. The old world decor is very inviting with high ceilings, tall windows, fireplace settings and marble surfaces. located in downtown it's near all the attractions of a modern downtown area. prices are high, but far better than we're expected them to be, an excellent value for this type of dining experience. I definately recommend the ribeye and arugula salad. we only had two issues. Two ribeyes were switched and we only noticed once we cut into and began to eat our steaks to reveal the difference in preparation. We both enjoyed them still and raised no concern with the staff. The second was a pricing discrepancy that was cleared up once I caught it and pointed it out to the management.Traveler and Adventurer - IG @brian.dent

Dined during the lunch hour. Had the fall vegetable salad with a mustard vinaigrette dressing. It was delicious. The interior of the restaurant is so Mad Men. A throw back. It's beautiful. The service was outstanding.

I took down a negative review from last fall when my wife and I went to Alexander Brown and had a misunderstanding with a staff person. We went back last week and had a really nice time. The service was perfect, the burrata appetizer was delicious, and the ambience was spectacular. Thank you!

Amazing place, beautiful atmosphere. Our server Rich was very friendly and we felt welcomed. The food was delicious and reasonably priced; There are places in Baltimore that are considered a-must where the food costs more and is half as good. I had breakfast/brunch with my gf; We had 2 cappuccinos, 2 cocktails and 3 entrees and we paid about $100 (tip not included). Amazing pancakes, schnitzel and burrito,

Did not have the best experience. However, Mr. Matthew Foody, the director at the restaurant, changed my mind.I applaud him for his compassion and professionalism. He is the ONLY reason I will be dining there again and recommending to others.
