Thali Indian Restaurant

First visit. Food is non spicy which is good for me but Thali quantity is too less and price almost double to Blue Fox Indian Restaurant. A long wait for just 1 Thali.

I am editing the review. Initially when we gone for alacarte the food was awesome. Later when we went for buffet, the varieties was less. So for buffet this is not the good place to go.

Excellent food & service. Very clean restaurant and a nice atmosphere with calming music. Mangesh was very pleasant and provided quick service. Bonus - Cool plates and cups :) I shall return

Have been going here for a long long time, and most food is delicious, but why in the world are the gulab jamuns so pedestrian?! They are worse than what an amateur would prepare at home. For a Punjabi restaurant, they are way below par. Please work on a better recipe and fix the gulab jamuns.

Ok, so, I’m still fairly new to Indian cuisine and this is the third place that I’ve tried in the RTP area. Basera Indian Cuisine (buffet style), Curry Point(cafeteria style) and Thali Indian Restaurant (dine-in). Each has its own vibe that I can appreciate. Out of the three, I’d say that Thali is #1 regarding taste and freshness. Definitely on the higher end with regards to price-point, but, so worth it! The customer service, decor, portions, and taste are well worth taking the time to checkout for your next meeting, date, or Friday Family Night dinner!

Food was nice. But they expect people to come early at least before 9:30 pm. Because they would prefer to close at near 9:40 to 9:45.

This place has some solid dishes, just not many of them. So your enjoyment well vary based on whether you're looking for variety or just a few solid dishes to choose from. I don't eat Indian that much, and considering it was a Sunday I was expecting a very lavish buffet from which to choose. There really was only about 16 things total to pick from and most of them were vegetable dishes. However, when I did go back for my second plate I knew exactly what to pick. Clean restaurant and great service.

We ordered a Thali. Food was delicious, unlike other restaurants who overkill it on spices and oil, this was as good as home cooked meal. Rice pudding was scrumptious and we could not resist but order another Thali for takeaway. They are not stingy on food portions and price was also value for money. Me and my daughter enjoyed it very much. I highly recommend it.

I've been to some truly excellent Indian places aroun RTP, but Thali might take the cake as the finest. My wife and I had a truly awesome experience here, food was super tasty, staff was very nice. I've been here for lunch and dinner, and the lunch buffet is absolutely top notch. You can't go wrong here, Thali is an excellent spot.

Cozy and unpresumptuous, clean and tidy, the staff was very welcoming and professional. But the real treat was how delicious the food was. I recommend it.

Food was awesome!!!!! I am a vegetarian foodie person and was looking for a good north indian flavored restaurant for sooo long. Each veg item in the buffet tasted exactly as i wanted it to taste like or want to cook at home. Hope the quality stays (unlike some other places which are good for few weeks then quality goes down and loses its customers including me) I will recommend this place if you like north indian food.

My family of eleven came in Dec 25th wanting a great meal and that is what we got! The staff was great and the environment was wonderful! We will return to try more on the menu as it was our first time trying this amazing food!!!
