The menu is varied without being overwhelming, and vegetarian options are available for several of the dishes. Food is always fresh and delicious (my current favorite is their Thai chicken coconut soup), the various teas offered - in addition to cold sodas, beers and wine - pair well with most every plateBe prepared for a possible wait for dinner during weekends - they're a popular option for locals looking for a casual Friday night!

Food was fantastic. It was fresh hot full of flavor. The mango sticky rice for desert was very nice.

We've been going here for 10 years, even though we moved away from Richardson years ago -- we still make the trip. The food is very good, and they really work to accommodate us as vegetarians (and our requests for extra, extra spicy dishes!). Great food and service!

The menu and service were beyond our expectations. We truly enjoyed the ambience of this spot. Awesome restaurant to take the family out for lunch.

This is the best Thai food I’ve ever had. My family and I travel from McKinney whenever we’re craving it. When family visits us from Dallas, they visit Thai Soon at least a few times while they’re here and take plates to go. The owners are also the sweetest and most generous people. I highly recommend this place.

We love Thai Soon. The food is always delicious! However, that being said, we feel their standards for service has declined significantly. The place appeared scattered and just not polished any longer. For a Saturday night dinmer, the owner's young children should not be occupying the table next to us with noisy devices and toys. At one point, the little boy opened the cooler door and placed his face against the glass...while the mother was on her phone at the "kids table". Our two food dishescame out 10 minutes apart. And they are no longer BYOB. We will consider carry out if the place continues to appear chaotic or we will find another regular Thai restaurant nearby.

I simply enjoyed their dishes. I always get fantastic service here. The place is well kept and the employees are always super nice. I highly recommend this place.

Always great Thai food here.. The waiting staff can be hit and miss and you may have to wait for your food, or your appetizer and entrée will appear at the same time. But the food is worth the wait.Best Thai food I have found so far.

I often take my friends to this place with my warmest recommendations. I visit this restaurant often. This recommendation is always successful. The the food there is tasty and the team is very friendly and cooperative. Whenever we eat in this place we have a pleasing evening. warmly recommended.

Great food. Highly recommend. One of the few places that will make their food as spicy as I like it. Recommend the Basil Chicken and the Pad Thai, both amazing!

Love going here for lunch, always delicious and a great value. If you are a Thai Food fan you will not be disappointed.

While the food is good, we had to wait over an hour and a half for our food. The people next to us waited almost two hours. Totally ridiculous. No discount on the food. No apologies. No explanation. We did however watch many deliveries come and go with food quickly while we waited. Won’t go back. So disappointed.

They have a small buffette now!! It just got better..
