Excellent place to chill and eat a good dinner if you are visiting San Francisco. Their customer service is great and worth a tip. The employees work fast and efficiently. Their drinks are amazing and truly are a perfect compliment to their food. I love this place and cant wait to go back the next time I'm in San Francisco.

Food is good , had to tell them twice for them to get my order right as I didn’t want some ingredients in the pad Thai. Also, they charge you for a bag without asking you first, and then you have to tell them to remove it. They also forgot to give me napkins, chopsticks and cutlery when the order was meant for takeout.

Questions & Answers

Don't get me wrong, I love House of Thai... But I agree with Jackeline ... not so kid-friendly, a bit hipster, very noisy inside, not the best area -- and they are one of the few, if not the only, Thai restaurants in San Francisco that doesn't serve Chicken Satay, definitely a kid-favorite item. Try Ploy II on Haight -- warm, homey atmosphere, has chicken satay, and also has another item that I think kids would like -- and that most Thai restaurants in the area don't have -- Mee Grob (sp?), a very sweet and sticky and delicious appetizer.

Mid priced for the neighborhood. Quality is good for price.
