Thai Basil

I love Thai food and I've wanted to try this place for years. Unfortunately, it fell far short of my expectations. First, I had to wait for several minutes for anyone to acknowledge me when I walked in. Second, for some reason which I don't understand they have a fluorescent light above the outside dining area that kills any sense of ambiance and only succeeds at attracting bugs to the area. Why they use this I have no idea. Third, the waiters seemed like they didn't want to be there - they weren't awful, just not what I expect - less than average. Fourth, the food was not very good. I eat a fair amount of Thai food and this was just disappointing. It was edible but not good. So, unless some big changes are made I probably will never eat here again.

Visiting the area from Eastern NC for a short 3 day trip and happened upon this place. Food is excellence!!! We ate here twice cause we loved it soooo much!!

A little slow on service (only one guy was working), but the food is delicious and the worker was very very nice. My boyfriend said the green curry was one of the best he has had.
