TGI Fridays

Stopped in for lunch during the week. Mostly tourists with a few working people. Not crowded at all.They had $11.99 lunch specials so I ordered the whiskey glazed chicken with a side of fries. The burger was just the right size, not too big. Perfect for a quick lunch. The sandwich tasted good, the bun was toasted a little too much, but didnt ruin the sandwich.

Bad service , the day when i visited this place the restaurant was almost empty, not busy. The staff is not friendly and they not ask and offer nothing...The food is ok, not bad. It’s just the servers ... 👎

Came in today for dinner after a long day of sight seeing. Waited to be seated for 10 minutes and wasn't seated. Finally we seated ourselves. 2 minutes later we were rudely told to move as "that spot isn't open". So we moved to a different table. We waited and waited for someone to come to our table to take drink orders and no one stopped by even though 3 waitresses seen us and walked by us numerous times. Finally we just got up and left. Really disappointed in the service here. It wasn't even that busy and there was plenty of people working.

In one word: "Awful". With so many good places to eat in New York how did I end up here? For vegetarians it's bad - just a Veggie burger is on offer as a main. We were told pasta or an omelette could be arranged. The pasta was literally that - pasta in a sauce, no vegetables or anything else. Bland and tasteless. The omelette was burnt to a crisp and was more like scrambled egg. Again no vegetables- not even mushroom and onion. So inedible we complained and had it knocked off the bill. Go to a chain and you think you know what you're getting. Not here! Best avoided.

So TGI Fridays advertises week day specials but does not offer them in Manhattan... This particular Fridays is in the basement of an unkempt building and upon entering we were greeted by a foul smell but no staff. I got up to ask the bar tender if we could get served but was told we couldn’t sit on that side of the restaurant because the staff would not serve us there. We went on a Thursday evening and we were only one of 4 tables. 2 more joined during our long wait for menus and honestly as much as we didn’t want to stay, we would have stayed for the ribs special but since they weren’t participating, we left. Not a nice atmosphere at all, dark and dirty.

Horrible place, slow service, waited 40 minutes for food and when I was done and requested a box to take food home, I waited 20 more minutes. What's even more ridiculous is that I ordered wings and didn't have dipping sauce. When I requested one I was told it was an extra dollar. I also didn't get a straw with my drink and at that point I was afraid to ask for one cause that could of cost extra.

This particular branch of TGIF was a bit cold. It didn't carry that warm inviting feeling of others that I have visited. However I love the way the manager walked the floor, greeted and chit chat with the diners and person's at the bar.

Worst place I have ever had the displeasure of eating. Over 2 hours of my life I can never get back. Waitress was horrible as well as manager.

It was ok, ive not been a fan of TGIF in Utah. I think they closed their Utah locations. But I might be wrong. However I thought maybe in New York they might up their game. I was wrong, I ordered a cheeseburger and fries. Simple enough, I got an overpriced dry cheese burger. That was probably my last visit to TGIF.

Ths is a cool TGI Fridays near Battery Park. You should know what to expect as they are all over the world, I recently went to TGI Fridays In Panama. So as most fast food franchises, the quality is quite constant from one venue to the next. This is a sports bar type of place, and I love the chicken wings with a fresh beer. The atmosphere is quite cool and relax, this place is not crowded.

Busy restaurant right on Broadway. The food was good but the service a little slow and some of the tables had not ben cleared. The staff were very helpful and friendly and accommodated my food allergy requirements.

The worst experience at a restaurant ever! They only have one bartender, we wait d for 40 minutes to get a table and when they takes us to the second floor the place was half empty. We waited about 25 minute without being acknowledged. I had to go and asked for someone to take our order. People do not waste your money is this restaurant. I have never made a bad restaurant against a restaurant, but this place is ridiculous!! I don’t give it a 0 because it looked at least clean.

Service was great and all, but I don't reccomend the shrimp and lobster pasta. It will leave you regretting it for the rest of your night.
