Some of the best pork tacos I've ever had in my life, steak was very good as well. Definitely going to become my new go to spot!

Went to their north ave location. They served me burned tacos al pastor. I mentioned to them they offered to replace them. I think they ended up charging me for them. Will not be coming back....

The new owner is very good. One of my favorite Mexican restaurants. They make the best tacos and burritos. And they are so polite and nice to the customers. I recommend this place to anyone.

Carbe Asada Taco Dinner

Amazing tacos. I am a regular at their location on Armitage Avenue. My mother lives across the street from this location and I just had to stop in. OMG, consistently excellent. I'm going back to buy some for a friend because something this good has to be shared.

This place is delicious. Having El Heredero’s second location so close to my house, I honestly struggle to cook for myself or go anyplace else. Service is warm, friendly and efficient. Al pastor tacos are a real standout.

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in all of Chicago! It’s to the point where I won’t eat anywhere else- even if I am drunk and craving Mexican at 2am, I won’t get Mexican food because Heredero isn’t open and I know I’ll be comparing to Heredero the whole time and any other place won’t measure up. It’s the only place I prefer the pastor to the steak because it’s SO. GOOD. the salsa (both red and green, I can’t pick a winner) are UNBELIEVABLE.
