It was a great experience to witness the chef's teppanyaki skills right in front of you. Good and helpful service who had some problems communicating in English. A bit pricy though, even for the basic set menu.

I came to the store before 13:30, but there were some customers waiting for me, so I waited for a while before being guided to my seat.The person in charge of the baking this time was very pleasant and I had a good time eating while having a conversation.Garlic rice seems to be recommended, so I would like to order next time (≧ ∀ ≦)When eating garlic rice, the meat is cooked first, not the last, before you bake it.

Please drink it and go home. . .The taste and customer service dropped, and I felt very disappointed.

Has to be one of the best Steaks I have ever had. You are looked after by the chef and his staff. Great atmosphere with a rich variety of great food and drink. If I am back in Japan I will definitely be visiting again. Kanpai

Matsunami is an old school Japanese style teppanyaki steakhouse in Asakusa. Got there before noon and there was already a queue inside with us being the only foreigners which is always positive sign. 150g of striploin wagyu perfectly done medium rare served with fried bean sprouts and cabbage. Great experience.

Definitely on the pricy side but the staff was very nice, the venue is great and the food was just brilliant! Wad set menus and we're treated to several extras. A delicious soup, fried rice with baby sardines, small dessert and coffee were all included in the price without it being mentioned. The chef was skilled and the meat was divine. Will go again if I ever get the chance!
