I can’t recommend this place enough. Tiny spot tucked away makes it a perfect place to get some of the best Gyoza I’ve ever had. The outer dough is so crispy you feel like you’re eating a cracker, and then delicious mix of juicy meat and green onions hits your buds. Ordered 40, I recommend you do too.

By far the most delicious gyoza we've had in Japan! We got there just in time as the place was full by the time we left. We easily smashed 20 each and then some. The only thing I'd change is including prices on the menu.

Best gyoza ever.

Undoubtedly 5 stars. This is the best meal we've had so far. They're so crispy, and balance perfectly with the pickles and alcohol. There are English menus and the staff were very kind and helpful.

The best Gyoza in Osaka. The 2nd best in Japan, and second only to Hohei in Gion, Kyoto.

Old school slow food. Brilliant. Not for loud cheap people.

Hands down the best gyoza we’ve had in a five week food journey through Japan. Go hungry. Eat many. I’m jealous.

A perfect bite size gyoza, filled with tasty fillings. The shell is really crisp and not oily. Good with beers . Make sure to come here when you have empty stomach since there is a minimum order for 20 pieces/person.

Came here at 18:15 on a Monday night and they only had counter seats available.Ordered 20 gyouza which costs 1200 yen. The good was they were made in front of you and cooked to order so no frozen ingredients - also very crispy which made them ever so appealing.... the not so good is they are extremely salty and oily - after the crisp bite you get a mouth full of salty and oily juice.20 was more than enough for me.Overall it's OK but honestly there not all the rave I hear or read about.

Food was of a very high quality and quite flavorful however the price was far to high in my opinion.

Tenpei was recommended to us by a friend as a ‘must do’ in Osaka. “The best gyoza 🥟 in town,†he said. Big call... So, we decided to visit and see if they truely are the best gyoza in town. Happy to say, the answer is YES. Well worth making the effort to find it (it can be a bit tricky, so have posted a pic of the front door). Enjoy! (ps: have also posted a pic of the very tiny beer glass we were given to pour our beer - funny 😂)

They only had a drinks menu.. And gyoza. Following the recommendation of not ordering the cucumber, we did not. The gyozas were superb, nicely crispy and flavourful.
