Hisago is a step above the ubiquitous Ten-Ya, in both quality and price, but still an affordable tempura option. However, the Hisago Tendon lacks a bit of creativity: the bowl contains 2 shrimps, pumpkin and other pieces, but also a “ebi-yasai-no-kakiage†- which is shrimp (again) + pumpkin (again). Prices around ¥1,000 to ¥1,700 per person.
