Tempo Restaurant

We asked google for restaurants near us and Tempo was a delightful surprise find. Our meals were excellent. The staff was friendly and very attentive. Menu is half french, half italian. Salads were great. Our adult beverages were made perfect. And our shared dessert and coffee ended the meal just right. We're looking forward to going back.

I visit this superb restaurant from time to time since I like the special air that is part of this place. The staff is extraordianrillyremarkably cordial and professional. The service is impressively efficient. Most important, the food they prepare is first-rate. I frequent many times and I was always happy. The cost is decent. I highly recommend this place to to everybody.

Great foods for very good prices. Parking right in front of the restaurant. One of my favorite restaurant. My absolute favorites are the oyster rockefeller and lobster Linguine. And save room for their wonderful dessert selections also.

The lamb chops were fantastic, fried calamari, Caesar salad, and the medallions Roquefort also delicious. Sorry I didn’t get a pic of those, they were devoured too fast. The food is very good. Don’t be put off by the modern ambience.

Good food and service

Being unfamiliar with the area, I went to Google and asked for a good lunch Place. Tempo came up and my daughter and I gave it a try. We were absolutely bowled over. The flavors were amazing, the food was wonderful, and it evokes Europe where the service is steady and careful and the food is wonderful. We will definitely go again.

We had a bit of a wait for the server; however, everything was wonderful otherwise- the food was amazing and the servers were very understanding. I would highly recommend coming here.

This place never fails to impress. They have good dishes for affordable rates, there is no waiting time even when they are packed.

I haven't been to a French restaurant before. The food was good and the residents whom I bought there for lunch were very pleased as well and they had some really cool art on the walls. Not to mention it was a very well lit restaurant.

I am not from the area but was in Alexandria to meet relatives for a family dinner. I must say from the appetizers to dessert everything was on point and delicious. I had beef for my main course which was seasoned quite nicely and was very tender. I was also lucky enough to try a part of a pasta dish which was wonderful as well. The staff was very nice and attentive. Also a great dessert tray selection, many if not all are homemade.

I've * never * had a bad meal at Tempo in over 15 years. This is a "can't miss" restaurant.

Excellent service and food!

My favorite restaurant. I came from Indianapolis IN just to have their Osso Bucco. My mouth had been watering for this dish. I have tried this dish at other restaurants and they can't compare. The service was fantastic as it always was when I lived in the area. The owners, chef and wait staff not only provided memorable service but also anticipated our needs. A thousand kudos for this restaurant maintaining it's standards over the years.

We had a lovely Sunday brunch meal. I highly recommend the French Toast. It is rich and fluffy and seasoned in the most lovely way and covered in fresh fruit. We had the blueberry tart for dessert. It is a fabulous cream base with bold blueberries exploding throughout. Yum!The service was excellent. The interior has whimsical art including "Rock, Paper, Scissors" and "The Basic Food Groups".The pricing is moderate for dishes.Try Tempo and experience the music of Sunday brunch!

Had a great experience here! Kind and attentive staff, short wait time for food, and amazing classic Italian food. Would highly recommend.
