Temple Coffee

I went in straight to the bathroom and a barista stopped me and said the bathroom is only for customers eventhough I was groomed nicely. On the way out I stopped to talk to a girl about her saint Laurent shirt and he said I can't have you Talkin to the customers. I could have known her or even been meeting her.

Expresso drinks are good. I particularly like the capuccino and mexican coffee. But the employees are totally disorganized and I usually have to repeat my order 2 or 3 times. They sd write it down on the cup or paper. My favorite thing about Temple is the patio so I can bring my 🐕.

I am passionate about good coffee. Temple is my favorite of any place, in any city. I would even argue that my love of coffee has been most influenced by Temple. The staff and aesthetics of their physical locations makes for a great experience, but their greatness is found in the beans. I live in Portland now but make sure I have Temple whole beans delivered. Don’t settle for anything less.

Staff is always exceptionally nice at this location, and superbly talented. Easily the best Temple coffee I've been in. Love the level of control you get when ordering in tea's

It's clean. Very appealing. But a bit pricey. And so busy that the staff seems overwhelmed or short tempered. The pastry is high price.

Good coffee, some vegan pastries (the pumpkin pecan muffin was great). Real dishes and silverware for dining "in" outdoors.

Coffee ( just wish they have coconut milk alternatives) & customer service is awesome 😎 but the gluten free cookie ( new kind) tasted like hard cardboard to me a $5 cookie but I loved their blueberry gluten free muffins yum 😋

Good, good coffee and friendly folks. There weren't many coffee shops open early Sunday morning in downtown Sacramento and this one is recommended. Would be great to see them offer 20oz+ . Until then I'll be buying 2x 16oz ;-) Oh, and a help-yourslef jar of dog cookies.

I've walked here with my friend on our morning dog walk. We get 2 pots of Sweet Tea and chill with the dog in the little table & chairs seating area right out front. People have been pretty nice about having the dog there. So if you have a well behaved dog and a friend to order your drinks come here and sit a spell. The Sweet Tea is delicious

Great service, great coffee and pastries to boot. I had a hard time lately sorting through reviews to find places that have great coffee black. This place suceeds in that. Its not that romantic to see a plain cup of coffee with no milk and determine if it has sex appeal. I had a cup of drip, maybe honduras and cream cheese danish. Nice fast experience. Cheers

This place is fine, nothing wrong with it but a bit overpriced in my opinion. I didn't like that they offer you a choice of beans as you place your order but don't advertise that one kind is more expensive than the other. I just picked at random and so I was a bit annoyed to see afterwards that I'd paid an extra dollar per coffee for that bean type! I guess you learn with experience.

Loved it! Really cool open space with local art on display, the staff were really friendly and walked us through the coffees that were available, and the drinks tasted great too! Definitely recommend check it out, even if it's on the expensive side of things.

Good place to walk to while on jury duty. Awesome coffee. Two large beautiful wood slab tables for large groups.

Coffee was good, received in a French press. A lot of flies inside, took a star off due to really needing a fly swatter.

Temple is a top shelf, third wave coffee shop and roaster. They excel at pour overs and espresso alike. The baristas are friendly and kind. The ambience is calm, clean, and slightly warm. They remain one of my favorite shops locally.
