Tempe City Taco

This is my favorite little taco shop! I love supporting local businesses and enjoy coming here often for a burrito or some tacos after a long work day. The food is delicious and everything is made to order. My favorite is the barbacoa burrito which is my usual order. What I love most about this place is the service. Everyone is so friendly and happy when I come in and I feel at home here. Even though I only come every 2 weeks or so, they know me by name. That means a lot to me and I will definitely keep coming back!

I have been eating lunch here on occasion for about nine months. The California burrito is pretty good and reasonably priced in my opinion. However, after calling in my lunch today I was told it would take 15 min to prepare. I showed up when it was supposed to be ready and ended up having to wait an additional 20 min for my food to be ready. I get it though, mistakes happen. If that was the end of it, I would say 4 stars, but i opened my tacos only to find the most disappointing little tacos inside the box. I get that street tacos aren't supposed to be huge, but come on. These are two street taco tortillas with about 5 specs of meat in them that they are charging almost 3$ for. Basically highway robbery. Ill stick to the california burritos and hope it doesn't take so long again.

We had TC tacos cater our baby shower and only tried it once before. That was also after I had already arranged to have them cater our food. I am glad I went with this place on a whim because they make some damn good tacos. I just went there again the other day for lunch and again not disappointed. I had two fish tacos, carne asada, and I can't recall what else currently. Doesn't matter because they have great food and great salsa so just try it already.

Good food and good service

Super friendly service and great tacos. Went for Taco Tuesday and Chef special was 1.50. Tacos were good and salsa was bomb. Would highly recommend Avocado Jalapeño and Salsa Roja. Chips and Salsa were also great - fresh and crispy. Parking lot has good amount of space. Would highly recommend.

I love love love their red menudo soup. It's about $9 for a huge bowl and they only serve it on certain days. It was spicy but yummy. The only thing was I wish they put more meat in there instead of making the majority of the soup with hominy. The tacos were great tasting too, but a bit expensive. It was almost $2 for one small taco, and on Taco Tuesday, their special is only for their chicken tacos. *sad face* Other than that, service was good. The waitress was attentive and made sure I got everything I needed, and there was minimal wait time for the food.

OMG I LOVE THIS PLACE! 2ND TIME HERE AND THE FOOD IS EXCELLENT! GREAT SERVICE, GREAT PEOPLE, GREAT CUSTOMERS! I WILL KEEP COMING BACK!

Great customer service and great quality food. We come from Chicago where the Mexican food is quality. This is extremely comparable and soooo good. I was craving nachos and asked for loaded nachos and they made a special order. Tacos are phenomenal. Nothing is overpriced at ALL - not sure what some people are talking about - they must be cheap or broke college kids. I hope they make the nachos a menu item! Should be 5 stars on google reviews, but people complained about price and alcohol - not fair rating.

If you haven't tried this place, you have to! Their Shrimp Burrito is sooo good! The way they toast the tortilla and the ingredients they use is just delicious. Definitely the best in the valley!

When you're not here on a Tuesday taking advantage of their $1.50 taco special, no matter what day you decide to dine in, the quality is always superb and the staff is always personable and friendly. I've personally made it a point to not only try and make it here every Tuesday, but to also introduce others to this fantastic eatery. They never disappoint, and I've made loyals and regulars out of my friends and family. Five stars, everytime.

Great tacos! It's like it's a secret. On Tuesdays it's Byob and 1.50 tacos. Wish I Iived closer I would be living up to the sign that every day is taco day. The girl helping was Awesome, Livier you a rock!
