Went here for an egg breakfast sandwich. Very fresh, very tasty. I'll definitely go here more often. I noticed free WiFi as per usual. Perfect were decent for the food. It was fairly quiet. Nice table setup inside with a few tables outside as well, and friendly employees. There is a small grocery section also, didn't use that tho.

It is a shame that the people that run this establishment are incompetent. I have been living in Fairmount for over 10 years and have rarely gone in here. I went in one time about a year ago because I needed cilantro and it was the closest option. I overpaid for a small mini ziplock bag of cilantro and after I walk home two blocks I notice it is black and soggy. Fast forward to today, I call Tela's to check to see if they are open (they are open until 8) and if they have an item I was looking for, which they did. I get there 20 minutes after I called and they were closed at 7:45. This is the most inconvenient, extremely overpriced (they think they are in Rittenhouse) produce shop that should be avoided and hopefully replaced one day. For now, I will continue going to Whole Foods or Trader Joe's until a better local option is available.

Awesome-awesome-awesome! Come here for finely crafted sandwiches that do not skimp and are gourmet-all-the-way! My breakfast sandwhich with Turkey bacon on a brioche bun was the best I ever had, and the lunch menu is extensive. It's a beautiful interior with plentiful seating. Order at the counter and take a number to your seat and relax, you wont be disappointed.

Phenomenal breakfast! It's been a long time since I've wanted to spend money on breakfast outside of home, after all most of it's easy to make at home, but Telas knocks breakfast out of the park. It definitely can get busy, so be prepare to exercise some patience. The food was quickly delivered though even with the rush of traffic.

The breakfast food at Tela's is amazing. They make the best pancakes I've ever had in my life. The other breakfast items are also delicious but the pancakes are truly exceptional.

I love dining in at Tela’s for brunch. The potatoes that come with the egg sandwich are always perfectly crispy and they have great iced coffee. Groceries are expensive but it’s nice to have the option to run in for something in a pinch.

Such friendly and helpful people. Such high quality prepared food. Such high quality meats, fresh fruit and vegetables. A big plus for the neighborhood.

Tela’s Market and Kitchen is a nice cozy breakfast/lunch/dinner place to get food made with locally sourced ingredients. Some of the seating is communal, but there are tables where you can use your laptop while you’re having coffee and catching up on work. The food itself is delicious. My personal favorite is the Beef N Barley which is hearty and filling. There is a wide variety of offerings on the menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It’s all good. Prepared fresh. The service is great. You’ll get addicted. There’s also a well edited assortment of grocery items in the market portion of the space. As with any good restaurant, plan your visit to accommodate for people in the Fairmount area taking their lunch break and eating at Tela’s. It’s less crowded later in the afternoon and mid-morning.

WOW! I wish I discovered this place sooner. Such a hidden gem in Fairmount – this is a great spot to grab a quick breakfast or brunch on-the-go. A lot of the times, you don't have time to sit down for breakfast on the weekends, as you have a lot to do. Telas is a neighborhood favorite gem for delicious, healthy and quick service. They have everything that you could ever want: omelets & other breakfast foods, smoothies, coffee, etc. It's located within a small little neighborhood market that sells fresh produce / meat / food. One of my favorite places for breakfast in the city!

Really nice local grocery store with farm fresh and lots of organic choices! A little hipster bodega if you will. Nice place to get a shot of espresso or a cappuccino!

During a recent trip to Philly my boyfriend and I stayed a few blocks down from this restaurant/market and it became our breakfast and lunch spot for the weekend. I had the turkey chili for lunch which was very good, not spicy at all, and it came with a delicious portion of cornbread. For breakfast I had got the Tela's breakfast which came with two eggs, two crispy pieces of bacon, diced crispy potatoes, and two prices of toast with butter and jelly. It was extremely good and very filling. We also got the blue smoothie which was delicious. It does get pretty crowded in here and we had to squeeze in a table next to strangers one day but the next day it was much less crowded. Free WiFi here as well, cute spot to set up your laptop and study if it's not too busy.

Great place to eat and shop. Great butcher. Very good diverse selection of food. Poke bowls are delish! Best coffee. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Shout out to Will who goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything needed.

Breakfast at Tela's hit the spot! This is a great corner restaurant for a quick serving of healthy options. Great relaxed atmosphere and pleasant, quick service. I went w their basic brkfst and found a plate full of home served food deliciously prepared: 2 giant strips of crisp bacon, quartered fried potatoes, two eggs & 2 thickly sliced wheat toast w butter & strawberry jelly. Elsewhere we enjoyed a fruitbowl of yogurt w bananas, apples, blueberries & raisins, and a bagel & locks.
