Ted's Cafe Escondido

Best mexican food i have ever ate.5 stars on the food and 5 stars on the service.

Teds has been good but the last 2 times I have been there things have changed the soft tortillas are too thick they used to be thinner and were GREAT they are still good but way to thick set up still is good food doesn’t have the taste I am use to from Teds , don’t know what has happened but please go back service is still great oh and my visits I am referring to were at Norman ok

Great food! Great service! The environment is very clean and they keep up with it. No wobbly tables and no torn cushions. Would highly suggest try in any of the non-traditional entrees they offer. The fried avocado is amazing!

Me and my family have been going here for years. It's always a very good dining experience and food even better! Servers are always attentive. You can rarely finish your tortillas or drink before it's been replaced with a knew one.Building is always clean, and although arguably less scenic than the original, it's still very nice and a great place for families of any size.Food is also always very good. We've probably been there more than I like to admit but I've never been disappointed with anything.I highly recommend!

Great service, delicious food. Sat us down pretty quickly with it being Saturday. Server & managers constantly checked on us. Definitely recommend to anyone wanting authentic food!!!

We have eaten at Ted's since they opened their first little restaurant. The food and service have always been top notch. This visit was on a Friday night so we knew there would be a wait for a group. However, there were many seated before us and when were finally seated there were many empty tables in our section. Hopefully this is a one time thing because Ted's is a regular in our rotation of places to eat.

My Brother-in-law and sister brought me and my wife here. The food was amazing and the waiter was really friendly. We went home stuffed I haven't been this full in a long time.👍👍

Good economical eats. Fresh tortillas, good drinks. What more can you ask for?

This teds is nothing but the best. The service is on point, the food is even fresher. The Norman Ted’s does it right. I’ve been a long-time customer of Ted’s, and have never been disappointed at this location!

Got the special all you can eat burrito and 2 kids meals. Took leftovers to motel room and it lasted 4 day's great food. Salsa needs more chopped garlic and cilantro. Cheese dip is too much like broccoli sauce not good dip

I love Ted's is by far,best Mexican food in the metro area and they told us a 25 minute wait and we were seated within 10 minutes keep up the great work

Good place for authentic Mexican food. Nice atmosphere. Friendly service. The drinks are excellent!! Prices are adequate.

The food was average the chips where hot nd fresh. Queso nd Pico nice touch to begin the meal. We had the Escondido Special it was ok, everything was covered in cheese sauce so couldn't tell what was what on the plate. I had the beef fajitas, hard to compare to the fajitas I cooked. Overall it was good. The flour tortillas need some work. The 3rd pick are my fajitas, from Chorizo San Manuel in Edinburg, TX.

I had a yummy little mini margarita, the fresh tortillas were amazing and I can't wait to get more! I do not recommend getting the single serve nachos. They are the saddest things I've ever seen. Other than that the food is great!
