Awesome atmosphere and ornate furnishings starting at the front door. Servers are always great and sushi is delicious, especially the specialty rolls. Mondays and Thursdays are half off food, which is a great deal, and Happy Hour in the bar area is half off drinks on weekdays. Finish off with the chocolate-filled giant fortune cookie for dessert.

I was thrown off by the large screen televisions at the bar, as Teak otherwise feels like a high end Asian fusion restaurant, with large statues, a fish tank, and a strict dress code (seriously, there's a sign on the front door). I went with a group of 10 colleagues and our sole server was more than capable. The appetizers and drinks were great, but my pad Thai was frankly awful (two others who ordered it actually returned theirs).

The place and environment look really nice. That's why they got the two stars. The food was a different story. I ordered sushi for takeout (spicy salmon and spicy tuna). I ate a lot of sushi, and this has to be towards the bottom of the list. They tasted nothing like spicy tuna and salmon. It wasn't cheap either, so maybe it was a bad patch, but I would not go there again.

I love this place. But one of security guy is rude and very dump. You can't even explain nothing to him, he start screaming and yelling right away. When we get there yesterday at 1:45am they charge us 15$ per person to get inside but at 2:03 after we smoke a cigarette he say: "we closed, no re-enter". My cellphone and jacket was inside. So I spend 30 min on cold because this guy, with a chicken brain on door is keep telling me: "i don't give a $h!.." till one of my friends came outside just to check where I'm at. On google map it says open till 3am but officially they close the door at 2am and no re-entering. This guy never tell me that. He was very disrespectful and insane.

Very nice looking restaurant. Kinda gaudy, but it works. The all you can eat sushi special on Tuesdays is pretty freaking awesome. If you can really down some sushi I highly suggest because you are getting some great rolls for a great price. The drinks here are also great as well. I came during the start of happy hour, so I can't comment to the late night eating if it gets crowded or not.

We went on a Tuesday night for the $20 AYCE sushi. The sushi was really good - some of the best I've had in a while - large rolls and lots of variety. I can't speak for the "club experience" aspect, but I'd definitely go back. Service was great, but it wasn't that busy the night I was there.

Not the club type of person but it was definitely an awesome experience! Looking forward to coming back & most definitely requesting Alex as a server; was very attentive but not over bearing. Originally had 11 people coming for a birthday celebration with a last minute extra guest, they made adjustments without a problem. Overall a great experience.

Hated every second of my visit(s). Have been here several times before in the past year hoping that my experience would change (giving them the benefit of the doubt that they may just have had an off night.). My experiences here became worse each time I stepped through those doors. Tried to get VIP for a friend's birthday (about 20 guests), and the promoters and servers completely a.) ignored us, b.) overcharged us the earlier agreed upon amount, and c.) were extremely rude. We ended up leaving after an hour and a half after not being served as our personal promoter and waitress were "too busy" and would not accommodate our agreed upon price from earlier that week. Do NOT recommend.

I held a "Surprise Birthday Party" for my daughter Saturday evening and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Beautiful surroundings, attentive "Staff", incredible dining, succulent fare of ribs, shrimp, wings and other goodies. And to top it all off you can dance the night away with the "DJ's", beats.Security Staff is top notch. My hats off to Owner "Diane", Floor Manager "Tina", mostly the "Wait Staff", that held sway over my party which included my daughter, family and friends.Again, Thank you.

I love Hoboken and I love sushi, so I had anticipated loving this place, but it was bad. I have visited three times, but the service is just plain awful. They seem to be forever testing their sound system while raising and lowering the volume from 0 to Max every few minutes. But the food service is even worse. Recently, I went for a lunch. I arrived at 12:15PM and ordered immediately. Appetizer arrived at 1PM. This is not the first time this has happened. Sushi itself is OK. Their drinks are mediocre. The only positive I can say about this place is that the location (next to the PATH) and the space (high ceilings, very open) are excellent. It is a shame that they put such a nice space to waste.

Went to a private event here. It was very nicely set up. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was excellent.

It looks nice when you enter but the service sucks! Our waiter was entertaining a group of girls and totally ignored us. We got no soy sauce, no chopsticks (we had to ask multiple employees to get these essential sushi supplies) and towards the end of our meal we hunted for and filled our own water!! It was a horrible experience. TOSH was our waiter (he was horrible and shouldn't work as a server). He was very rude and obnoxious towards everyone employees and all! The manager was nice however.

All I can say is WOW! They have the BIGGEST TV screens that I have ever seen. We went there for a quick bite to eat and they had the world cup playing. The screens were so amazing we ended staying for drinks. We had a great time and we will defiantly be returning soon to watch some more sports on those GIANT screens.
