I had the Mediterranean Salad, Halibut and the Chocolate Cake. The fare, the service and the attention to detail was top notch and first rate. The presentation was impressive as was the ambiance. The staff was very friendly and extremely courteous. My expectations were exceeded. The view from my table was beyond compare. On your next visit to Vancouver you owe it to yourself to enjoy the Teahouse in Stanley Park.

Great food, amazing location, good service. Quite pricey for what you get, but the location does cater to tourists rather than locals, so it's understandable. You pay for the location!

Beautiful Christmas dinner at a beautiful location. Definitely worth a visit. Only thing that let it down was at the end of our meal, the server watched us as we put the tip in the card machine, clearly wasn’t happy with the percentage we were giving and stopped talking to us - he was literally mid sentence with my mum and saw the tip and stopped answering her or engaging at all, his face went stone cold and he walked away from the table. I told my Dad on the side to up the tip slightly and he saw that happen and started smiling again and talking to my mum. Just disappointing that the niceness he had originally shown was just a front to get a big tip and when he wasn’t happy, he turned nasty. Discretion and customer service is something to be worked on, remember - tips are not an absolute right, and any server that feels they are, are in the wrong trade.

I'd honestly give a 3.5 star but 3 was too harsh. I've heard very good things from this place and to be fair; the prices you pay for the food you get in Vancouver is more than fair. But its presented so beautifully and the taste and quality are a slight let down. My girlfriends salmon was poorly seasoned and "mushy" to say the least. My chicken was overdone, dry and mediocre when it came to flavour. The appetizers were above mediocre but nothing to rave about. I'm giving a 4 star instead of a 3 because I've only been here twice and I feel like they have potential and perhaps I just got the bad end of the stick. I will definetly be coming back and hopfully wont be partially disappointed. Service was amazing with kind and attentive staff. My only complaint would be our server took a fair amount of time to come back to our table around the end of our meal. Other than that, they were fantastic and made us really feel welcomed and not mention the place has quite the view :)

Haven't been here in a very long time! My husband and I went for brunch on a Sunday afternoon. The food was delicious & the service excellent.

Excellent restaurant for a romantic dinner and for those who are visiting Vancouver.Absolutely great service, tasty food coming to the table at the same moment (not all restaurants do that and it can be annoying with a large group). Perfect timing here.Beautiful decor, excellent wines and honest prices.I recommend booking a table in advance although you can always try your lucky. 🍀

This place is fantastic! Due to the location in Stanley Park, we had low expectations. We were expecting an expensive touristy place with little substance. We were pleasantly surprised. Every dish we had was delicious. Try the salmon. Salads are also great. Very fresh. Loved the Nanaimo dessert too.

We wanted a cozy and intimate wedding reception at a quintessential Vancouver location. The Teahouse delivered on every point and more! We and our guests truly had an amazing experience and views/photo opportunities on lawn and at the beach were incredible.Michelle was our Coordinator and was great to work with, she was so helpful and always responded quickly. The Chef, Mark and all kitchen/serving staff made the night so inviting and memorable, we will forever be thankful for their hard work that night. From the great service to the delicious food and the fantastic behind the scenes work by the staff, I would highly recommend the Teahouse for a wedding reception!

A long standing popular place that you should not miss at Stanley Park. Right in front is a beautiful park with ocean views. There is parking in front and close by. If you pay for parking here you can park anywhere else as well within the time purchased in the Park. What a convenient system! The Tea House has amazing dishes as well as their tea. The service is friendly and efficient too.Don't miss this place.

The fish here is SUPERB. Had the sablefish for dinner and the salmon for lunch and both were perfectly cooked. The atmosphere is very comfortable the service is excellent. This is a must visit! A great dinner place after a day at the aquarium.

Nice ambience. Lots of parking. However to get there, you need to drive through the whole of Stanley Park, which at night is in the pitch black darkness. Very professional and friendly staff. The food was excellent however on the pricey side. It is definitely a place to go for an event but it gets quite busy. I enjoyed my meal here and would go back.

Just had an amazing dinner at the teahouse. We had a table right beside the window and enjoyed watching the sun go down while we ate! The Sunday night roast is phenomenal, I’ve finally found a place that makes a decent Yorkshire pudding!

Cute restaurant right off Stanley park bike paths. Service was friendly and my salmon was very tasty. Was a perfect day to eat outside on their patio.

Such a lovely place I almost don't want anyone else to know about it :) but the host and wait staff were so great I have to give them the credit they deserve. The food is ALWAYS amazing, and the ambiance and location is so perfect. It is a heritage building but done up so nicely. And the VIEW!! also gave us an entire cup of whip cream because we needed extra for hot chocolate...anyways the service is SO good, they had such grace in putting up with us :) Thanks again, hope to join you again soon!!

Questions & Answers

Over 100 years ago, open as a small TeaHouse, they keep the name to now...

My husband and I came in nice jeans and sweaters after walking from the aquarium to the teahouse, and we felt a bit out of place. ?‍♀️ If you have a good sundress, that would probably be better than a tank top w/shorts.

Should be fine without one

No, parking in Stanley Park has a fee regardless if you are visiting a restaurant or going to the acquarium or sitting on the grass. All cars must pay parking

Dinner menu begins at 4pm

I put them in the expensive but worth it column.
