Taz has a great variety of North and South Indian food, and it is some of the best I have had—even better than anything I have found in Austin. The service could definitely be better. There was no one at the reception desk when we walked in, and it took several minutes for someone to seat us, even though the restaurant was mostly empty at the time. The silverware and menus were also not set up for all of us. The waiter could have been more proactive in checkimg to see if we needed anything, as I sat for about 20 minutes with no water. Also the kitchen, or maybe the waiter, forgot a couple of items we ordered, and it took awhile to finally get them, by which point we had already finished the rest of our meal.The service undoubtedly needs improvement, but the food really makes up for it. I would still highly recommend it to anyone.
