a favorite gastro pub with wonderful Prince Edward Island oysters, nice comfort fare, and friendly bar staff with the range of traditional cocktails: old fashioned, mint juleps, martinis, and a nice brasserie-style selection of wines.

Great food! Everything we ordered on the table was great. My salmon was just right and all the ingredients were matched awesome. I felt like I can have another one. Highly recommend this place.

Fab atmosphere: lively and old-world. Food was consistently very good. Service was a bit sour-faced but we were taken care of.

This is an awesome bar experience that should not be missed. The frontage is so small, you might miss it. Once you get inside, it is very large. You have to sit at the bar and order a cocktail. In this bar bar you should order s Tom Collins or Slo gin fizz. There is a reason it is rated the best bar in Montreal.

The food was delicious. We were served by Tina, who was very attentive and very friendly . Had a great time!!

Make a Reservation! It’s super busy after the work hour, very hustle bustle (loud) till about 8-9pm. Amazing food, trust your servers on there recommendations and daily specials ;) Don’t be afraid to ask about wine pairings either, they are keen to make sure your happy with tastings ;) Super intimate and of olden days In the late evening... especially if you can get a wall or banquet seating. Toffee pudding for dessert was extraordinary!!! Great service, lovely atmosphere, vintage feel fun venue ;) Ps coolest (Clean!) bathrooms, lol!

Beautiful place in and the food is amazing. Drinks are also decently priced and very good, not some watered down cocktail. The marrow is a must try, but it’s not your usual starter portion for sure!

Food was amazing. To start White fish croquettes with tarragon mayonnaise. Main course braised beef shoulder with cheddar mash and horseradish carrots. Service was quick and friendly. Unique style dark and cozy. Washed down with a Whisky sour and classic old fashion. Eat here if your in town!

Great place for a drink and a bite. Unique vibe. Attentive and friendly staff. Absolute musts: old fashion, whiskey sour, scotch egg and bone marrow. You will not be disappointed.

Good food and wine. I think the homemade tonic might be an acquired taste but it certainly isn't what you'd expect for a G&T.

I loved the atmosphere of this place; an ancient edifice from the begining of the previous century in the heart of the Golden square Mile of Montreal.The food is excellent, they have a "table d'hôte" formula and every day a main dish proposal.
