Located at the heart of Cornell University's campus, our casual fine dining atmosphere is perfect for entertaining family, friends, and clients visiting Cornell University and the Finger Lakes region. With a passion for food and fine wine and old world charm inspired by the Castello Banfi Wine Estate in Montalcino, Italy, Taverna Banfi is the signature restaurant of The Statler Hotel. As a part of The Statler Hotel, it is our responsibility to encourage the growth of our students as future leaders of the industry by concentrating on the highest level of standards.

A beautiful place to have a beautiful meal with friends and family. I am so glad Taverna Banfi was my choice restaurant; delicious meal, quiet environment, amazing workers and i was surrounded by lovely people. The experience was great.

The thought is there asfar as the menu goes, but the execution falters. The student staff tries very hard, but make small mistakes that may annoy. Pricey.
