Taverna Agora

First time here and I was just amazed with the food! Had went for brunch. Will return for dinner soon. My only concern was my waiter wasn't staying on top my beverage being filled (had to ask several times) however all in all the scenery was beautiful (@the 2nd floor) and everyone was super nice and professional! Special thanks to Eric (chef manager) for conversing/telling me about this place on his way home from Uber!💚

I was pleasantly surprised how amazing my food was. I got the surf and turf and my husband got the lamb chops. Both dishes were delicious.

Taverna Agora is a cool spot in Raleigh, fun atmosphere inside with soft Greek music, good service and tasty food. They do a cool cheese on fire presentation too.

Excellent food, service and experience on the rooftop! We were in Raleigh touring wedding venues and just happened upon Taverna Agora - such a pleasant place to decompress from our touring!

I always love eating/drinking here, especially upstairs in the open air seating area! If you’re looking to celebrate something, this is a perfect place to do so, as the servers are accommodating and so helpful. The few times I’ve been I’ve always had great servers - friendly and authentic. It seems like everyone really wants you to have a great experience while dining there.The food is just as great as the atmosphere, full of flavor and something for everyone, even their brunch menu! Plus, $3 mimosas! What else is there to know? While I’ve had several things on the menu, one of my favorites, which I strongly recommend you try, is the Spicy Feta Spread! Yum.

Had dinner with work colleagues (table for 4) on a beautiful spring evening in Raleigh. The rooftop deck is perfect and our waiter Jeremiah was helpful and entertaining. everyone loved the setting and meals. we shared 2 apps, including saganaki, which was deep fried (never had it prepared like that). the other was stuffed grape leaves. entrees included fisherman's pasta, stuffed pork chop, salmon salad and grilled salmon w/ Gig dinner. $142 plus tip includes 4 or 5 cocktails. Super place. Check it out!

Thank you Taverna Agora for your pick up service during this difficult time. I ordered at 2 for 5 o’clock pick up. The order was perfect and so was the dinner.

Our server was on point all night, while she running the bar. They had a chili with lamb in it and we stuffed full of meat. The best part was the grilled lamb. Hands down some of the best lamb I have ever had in my life. Can't wait to return with visitors to show them something great.

What a nice place, excellent food, atmosphere, and service. And the breads are fantastic. Wish I would remember the server's name, but very professional, swept-back red hair and arm tattoo. The food however was delicious, and just what we needed.

Love coming here! I’ve been in Raleigh since August 2019 and been here 5 times since and every time I’ve gotten something different and I’ve been blown away every single time! I’ve been here for dinner, lunch takeout, and even a 50 person graduation party. I will continue to support this local business for as long as I’m in Raleigh!

Didn't know this was a place till one of my friends became a server here. I went to check it out one time and was blown away. This place was overflowing with good energy and even better food. The staff was all super kind and the atmosphere was remarkable. 5 stars.

Had a big family dinner here:) we enjoyed the Taverna Grecian Grill in which we had salad, veggies and grilled lamb, chicken, gyro meat, and meatballs! It was plenty of food and we thoroughly enjoyed it!! They also have an excellent sangria. Make sure to make a reservation as it is very busy on the weekends:)
