Tavern On the Ave

We held a grooms dinner there. The food was ok but it's the service that sets this place apart. They were responsive, helpful and had great ideas. Overall they made the party planning painless and I'm not a party planning kind of person. The wait staff was responsive and attentive. The whole thing was well run.

Really good menu of upscale pub grub and a nice drink selection but a little pricey

Historically, we've enjoyed delicious food on our visits to this restaurant, so we invited family to join us for lunch. Unfortunately, this visit yielded a far different experience! The food was mediocre, at best - most of it being overdone. My chicken was scorched, and others complained that their burgers were dry and tasteless. We likely won't be returning...

Mediocre. For the “best fries in Minnesota” they were sub-par. We obviously had take-out and got all the way home to realize we were missing 2 burgers. Two people didn’t get food, and the best they could do was refund us the burgers. I understand that we’re all having a rough time and it’s busy, but it’s Mother’s Day and we were unable to eat as a family due to this inconvenience.

I was with a large group of 25 to 30 people. We were served in a timely manner and the food was delicious.

Every time we are in town a stop here is a must. Amazing food and beverages! Fun atmosphere, we highly recommend the super fries!

Our friend from the area recommended it and we took her to celebrate her birthday as we were from Illinois and are heading west later this week I tried one of the special drinks and a special menu item as well as the others and we all enjoyed

their wings had no sauce on at all .. . my biggest pet peeve! go to big dogs in North Mankato if your looking for good wings!

Great atmosphere. Great Service. Amazing Burger. Don’t pay the extra $2 for the waffle fries. Whimpy, cold and over seasoned!!

We had a large hockey group and took over the basement area. The service was great, food was good and the drinks perfect. We had a great time.

Great service, good food! I especially enjoyed a of the different food options that there were! Mexican, italian, American, whatever you're in the mood for! Bathrooms were clean, lots of TVs, and friendly atmosphere!
