Tavern on Broadway

A wonderful pub menu with a huge selection of beers on tap and by the bottle. I had a wonderful local porter. The classic house burger and the lobster roll were what we sampled and both were great, tasty and ample. We were there not at peak time, but there still were a lot of customers, so reservations might be a good idea. We ate outside, which was dog friendly.

Fun. Cold beer. Yummy food.

First stop on our long weekend. Couldn't have picked a better place! Try the shaved beef au jus!

The Tavern is a local favorite. Offering a decent spread of draft beers, a fantastic menu (Try the pork spring rolls, truat me), and a very calm, relaxed atmosphere, the Tavern on Broadway is in my top three Newport go-to"sUpdate: the French Dip is easily the best I have ever had.

Clean place! I visited on a Monday with minimal business. For what it was worth I wasn’t blown away by the service. Besides the two other people in my party and myself I think their were total of 3 occupied tables in the place. Waiter forgot a beer order after brining two cocktails to my table. The food was great! Enjoyed the fig pizza and wing deal.

Stopped there yesterday for lunch. My husband had the burger and beer special. I had the comfort food special. Everything was so good!! I loved the cream of mushroom soup. We had such a nice waitress also. Will be back
