Great place, great drinks!

Excellent service, excellent staff, great drinks, especially the one with acid. Very highly recommended, this is the place where any one can go and every one is treated as they deserve regardless of any thing. Super great people working there and they really put forth the effort to make anyone welcome. Do yourself a favor and have at least multiple drinks there.

Beau is a wonderful bartender and has an immense selection of liquors to draw from to make your selection process a challenge.

Jazz on Tuesday nights with $6 wine. No cover. Great music. Matt Kendrick brings it on and who knows what great WS musician will step in to jam.Enough said.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoy Tates when in Winston Salem. If you see a cocktail you like but do not enjoy the spirit, talk to the bartenders, they are very knowledgeable about their flavors. The bourbon selection was extensive to the point my husband who is a bourbon enthusiast said he had never seen some of what they offered. This was extremely impressive considering we have gone to bars that are bourbon centric in both DC and Columbus, OH.

Great place to start or end your night.

Music's a bit too loud, and there's always too many people there, but they have amazing drinks. If you don't know what to order just ask the bartender to make you something. Last time I was there, I asked for a Vodka Martini with rock candy, and it was delicious. I highly recommend Tate's Cocktails.

Outstanding selection and service. We got there early in the evening and had a good conversation about Bourbon with our server Jenna. Returned later in the evening for "dessert" and the place was packed so didn't stay. Highly recommended for excellent selection and service.

I never knew the name of the bar but I've been there twice before. Tonight I brought food to one of the workers and he told me about some new drinks and specials so I figured I'd try them for a nice cold one after work. I had a wonderful experience with some of the rookie staff members but all that was tarnished when a veteran worker was just down right nasty and rude. I felt as I was a bother and not worth his time even the right color or dressed for his attention. This upset me as I brought over 50 dollars worth of merchandise and spend 80 in shots alone. Everytime I sparked convo with him be it new drinks or the weather or something he was already speaking to others about at the bar I was ignored or just he didnt give a damn. Myself and a few others took notice and spoke on it.
