TaTa's Tex-Mex Restaurant & Bar

Went with a friend, neither of us had been there before. We had her 3 young daughters with us. Food was Excellent! Staff were friendly and very helpful! We enjoyed our visit very much!

Ate at the bar, bartender was very nice! Food was great! Definitely like the hometown feel! I'll be back for sure 👍!

The lighting was interesting friendly servers food need a little more help It wasn't that tasty. place needs to be cleaned The bar area was so loud it was trickling in to the dining area

Nice size to have a good time out with friends and family. Drinks were reasonably priced. Didn't get to order food this time around. Got there a bit late, kitchen was closed.

I heard people talk about this place about good food and good environment that was not the case last night starting with the hostess she was completely out of it drunk, high i don't know , the waiter i don't even know where he most of the time ones he come out of the back it was pretty hard to get his attention the fajitas we order taste it like lighter fluid i don't like giving a bad review because sometimes the restaurant is just having a bad day but i have never had a worse experience than what i had last night i try to give a establishment a second chance but after what I experienced it dosen't deserve a second chance i am sorry

Historically. Good food. Mediocre service. First choice for sitting in the bar and having dinner. Second choice for sit down dining. Food quality mid-range.

The service is great, but I just don't get the obsession with TexMex. I don't want nacho cheese dumped all over everything and I don't understand the giant air ball that comes with most meals here. Overall, the food quality is pretty good, but the food in general is just not my taste. The decorations are interesting to look at and the saddles at the ends of the booths are a fun addition. The outdoor patio is so nice, unless it's dark and then you are being attacked by bugs. We had a moth land in our chips and someone almost ate it on accident. That is not the restaurant's fault, just a warning to be careful if you eat here in the dark!

Really good tex mex food, that actually caught me off guard. Being born and raised in san antonio, tortillas beans and rice come with combo plates automatically. That wasnt the case here. Our waitress "D" was outstanding and the restaurant looked really clean inside. Would eat here anytime I'm in town.

Very friendly, good drinks, bartender knows her stuff and not stingy with alcohol. Great appetizers and the jukebox has a great selection for our varied taste, Rob Zombie to Johnny Cash. Competitive prices. Great spot for a midday break

Great texmex in a fun atmosphere! If you are in Crocket definitely visit Tata's!

Sorry ....Not that great ...one waitress coughing alot....hope no virus spreading....our waitress was nice but seemed to be preoccupied with other things besides work......food was probably better back in the day.. I'd pass it up next time I go thru here....

Service was slow but food was good

I have grown to really like Tata's but the last three times Tony and I have gone, it has been an okay experience. Each time has been a little worse than the last. Tonight was terrible. The loaded queso was cold. We waited longer than normal for our food. When we finally get, Tony's food was cold and missing items. My steak was stringy and tough. It was a horrible cut of meat. I love steak like Sam Elliot but I didn't eat it. We boxed our food and brought it home to the dogs. They liked it.I'm so very sad to put 2 stars but it couldn't be helped. I don't know what's happening at Tata's but PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE go back to being great again!!!
