Tasty China Sandy Springs

I really don't like giving places a 1 star review unless I have an unimaginably bad experience. That wasn't the case here, people seemed friendly, my food was ready on time, but the quality of the food was the big problem.I had never been here before, and had pretty high hopes based on all the good reviews. I ordered the sesame chicken with fried rice and a spring roll - pretty basic order. First piece of chicken I bite into is hard and raw in the center (see picture). I tried other pieces, and while they were cooked through, they were tough and chewy. I tried about 4 different pieces before I gave up and tossed it. I think the quality of the chicken used is an issue. The fried rice was very good, but sadly the main course and spring roll were just the opposite. I'm pretty sure I won't be back, which is unfortunate - I was hoping to find a good Chinese spot nearby.

Servers were super friendly and accommodating to our group of ten. Our water glasses were always full and the family style dining was a good time for us all. Went back here again and had another good meal. This place has consistently great Chinese food with excellent service. Our favorite dishes have been the dry fired egg plant, the dry fried green beans, the hot numbing crispy beef, and the salt and pepper shrimp. Nice new restaurant with elegant decor. Great addition to Sandy Springs!
