Tasting Kitchen

Beautiful atmosphere, lighting, and service. I love the tree in the restaurant. Food is great but we had to send back the pasta amatriciana but they were very gracious and replaced it with a lovely pasta. Service was impeccable. Can’t wait to go back.

We went on a Friday night, it was fairly packed. Ordered the gnocco grotto with burrata and the salt roasted branzino. Two of their very famous dishes. I will order the branzino again, it's close to be as good as the seabass at Wally's (if you know you know) - I loved the place, amd I will be back for sure.

Everything I had here was amazing. The atmosphere was amazing as well. There were some dietary restrictions in our large party and the restaurant and chef took great care to ensure that those were addressed. The mushroom dishes, pastas, and fish/branzino were absolutely out of this world. Overall the experience and atmosphere were everything I had hoped for and more, and I would absolutely return.

Best restaurant in Venice Beach!!! I work in fine dining and luxury hospitality. This is the best experience I have had in LA.My aunt and I came to celebrate a special occasion. The tasting menu was delightful, the atmosphere was great and most importantly the staff made you feel special and welcomed.Definitely coming back. They have been a success for 10 years and are still humbled about it.THANK YOU for a great night!

Great location, wonderful setting and wine list. The food is good but beware that vegan options are VERY limited - only two items could be adapted on the menu, apart from sides. None of the pasta dishes can be made vegan which was disappointing. Overall a good experience and not crazy expensive for the ambiance.

At first I wasn’t sure what to make of this place I found the menu confusing. However our server soon cleared this up for us he spoke with such enthusiasm that we both opted for the 3 course tasting menu. We were not disappointed, it was surprisingly impressive and great value for money. We had three starters brought out to us, which were all really nice then we had three main course dishes. Finally dessert, I think was the nicest dessert I have ever had. I would highly recommend visiting here and trying the tasting menu. There was more than enough food for the two of us, both being foodies we absolutely loved the thrill of not knowing what we were going to get until it came to the table. Very exciting!

Had a group dinner. Food was a little slow and the portions were small but the food was really good. Would probably return.

Hanging around the bar is good. Great atmosphere in the evening. Nice people. Good staff. Food is good, too. Italian style. A bit noisy. But the place is alive. What do you want? ;)

Food and service on point. Had the omelet with crab it was full of flavor and crab. I also had a bloody mary that had just the right amount if spice and will come back for seconds.

This review is mostly for the service. Was in awe of how great the waiters, host, and service were. They knew the menu super well, lots of great recommendations, and extremely accommodating to dietary needs. Really pristine high class service overall, very impressed. Second best part was the atmosphere. I’m new to la so feel like I lucked out picking this spot for one of our first dins, beautiful indoor outdoor feel. Great vibe, busy but not loud. The appetizers and drinks were good but branzino was not, definitely wouldn’t recommend it. I think that’s the only flop on the menu though. A bit pricey but you’re paying for service and Abbot.

Did the three course tasting menu, Frankie our fun server was knowledgeable attentive and not smothering. The restaurant is open late and has a trendy quiet bar, meaning one can have a conversation. Highly recommended.

Arrived early and had a great time. Staff was very nice and helpful and food was some of the best breakfast / brunch I've ever had.

Beautiful place music too loud. Not all combination of herbs go together try the hash not the biscuits and gravy
